It is that time of year...flavored holiday coffees from your favorite brands, coffee shops, etc.  Earlier this month I had a press release come through my email that made my day.  Peet's Coffee had released their annual Holiday Blend, as well as handcrafted beverages including holiday spiced latte and winter solstice tea latte (for those lucky enough to have a Peet's Coffee near near.  Unfortunately, we don't have a Peet's Coffee near us, so I have to get my fix by picking up their bags of coffee at my local grocery store or through the Peet's Coffee website.

I have been a fan of Peet's Coffee holiday blends, and was super excited when I heard about the 2017 Holiday Blend, which is "crafted with beans from Guatemala for notes of bittersweet chocolate, Sumatra for a hint of warm spice, and Ethiopia for a floral citric twist. Whether paired with festive indulgences or sipped on its own, the Holiday Blend is sure to delight holiday guests."  You can purchase this seasonal coffee blend now through January 3, 2018, and while supplies last. I was so excited when the folks at Peet's sent their holiday blend in dark roast for me to sample, along with two cute little Peet's ornaments for the tree.

I couldn't wait to try out the coffee so pulled out my pour-over for a perfectly brewed cup of Peet's coffee.  I couldn't get over how great this coffee smelled as I was brewing up a cup.  You could really smell the cocoa and baking spices.  And, the taste...it was amazing!  I found myself letting the coffee linger in my mouth for a short time just to savor this tasty seasonal blend.  This truly is a wonderful coffee to end the year with. And, with many of us having family and friends over for the holidays, why not consider picking up Peet's Holiday Blend to have on hand to serve up to guests.  You will find them sniffing their coffee before taking a sip and commenting on how great this coffee smells.  Even those coffee drinkers who are not big flavored coffee blends will have a hard time resisting a cup of this dark roast seasonal coffee.  And, once they take a sip, they will smile with delight, as this really is a wonderful blend.  I had to invite a few friends over the other day just to make more of this coffee to enjoy, and wanted to share it with others.  I felt like I was keeping it a secret by not sharing. :-) Now my neighbors and you all know about.  So, you don't have an excuse on why you are not running out to your local grocery store or heading over to www.peets.com to pick up this holiday blend, available for a limited time.  I have to pick up more, as I have enough for one more cup of coffee.  And, I will need this amazing tasting coffee to get me through the holidays. :-)
