It is hard for me to keep secrets from my girls, especially ones I know they will get excited about. But, the other day I won 4 tickets to the Kidz Bop Live! show making a stop at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. Usually I don't enter contests as I never win, but when I saw this pop up on my Facebook feed the other day I entered and then forgot about it...until I got a Facebook message on Friday afternoon telling me that I won tickets. I will admit, I let out a shriek of excitement and with the girls sitting near me, they came running to see what got me so excited. I was going to tell them, but then thought it would be a fun surprise, as Bella's 6th birthday is coming up in 2 weeks, and we were thinking to take the girls to Boston for our annual trip to Max Brenner for their awful mess dessert. Now I had a reason to head into the city sooner. And, this would be the girls' first real concert, so it would make for a memorable 6th birthday for Bella, for sure.
So far, I have been able to keep the tickets a secret. Let's see if I can hold out until we pull up to the Orpheum Theater on Saturday night and the girls see Kidz Bop Live in lights. Savannah asked last year to go to the show, but when I went to look online, there were no stops near us with good seats left. So, I know she will be excited to finally be able to go to a Kidz Bop Live show.
Just the other day I received a Halloween Swag package from the folks at Kidz Bop to highlight a previously released Halloween Hits! CD. Included with this Halloween CD, were Kidz Bop 34, 35 and the recent 36 CD releases, as well as t-shirts for the girls, hats and even a light up micropone for them to sing along to their favorite Kidz Bop songs.
The girls were so excited when they say the shirts and the new CD. We have been streaming the new Kidz Bop 36 album through our Amazon music account, but the girls kept asking me for the CD so that we could listen to it in the car, and add it to their growing CD collection. The girls plan to give the duplicate 34 and 35 albums to my parents to keep in their car, so that they can listen to Kidz Bop when they are out and about with my parents. We have Kidz Bop on Sirius XM in my car, but my parents don't have it. So, if the girls want to listen to their music in my parents car, they have to remember to bring along one of their CDs. If not, they will have to listen to my Mom's country music. :-) Now, my girls can give these extra Kidz Bop CDs to my parents to keep in their car, and will get to listen to their favorite hit songs sung by kids for kids whenever they want.

If you have never heard a Kidz Bop song and have young children, you will want to check out this popular kids music. My girls can't get enough of it, and whenever they are talking with their friends about songs they like, their friends are also in the know about Kidz Bop and have their own favorites. I love how I get to listen to chart topping pop hits like this in the car, and don't have to be quick to turn down the volume if inappropriate lyrics come on. I know that with Kidz Bop music, the music is geared towards kids and all the inappropriate lyrics are removed. That way kids can enjoy the same music parents like, and we don't have to screen their music in advance.
I can't wait for this weekend when we get to bring the girls to their first concert. We will be listening to the new Kidz Bop 36 album all the way down to Boston and on the car ride home. Each of the 16 songs are hits and songs you will want to sing over and over again with your kids. I especially love when the girls play this music in the house and it starts an impromptu dance off. Thanks to music videos like the one you saw above, my girls have some sic moves (Bella's word) and can't beat my running man and Roger Rabbit any day. :-)
