MICKEY MOUSE: MERRY & SCARY
Bring Home the Laughs on Disney DVD September 26th

Whether You’re Trimming the Tree or Carving a Pumpkin, You’re Gonna Laugh Yourself Silly!

Can you believe that Christmas is right around the corner?  Only 13 more Mondays until the big day.  Have you started your shopping yet?  Not to fret as most people are just getting over summer being over and the cold weather setting in.  It seems likes by the end of summer, stores are stocked with Halloween stuff, and then by the end of September, they are moving the Christmas stuff in. Crazy, huh?

Well, if you are heading to a store to pick up Halloween decorations or costumes for your family, why not pick up the new Mickey Mouse: Merry & Scary DVD, which arrives in stores today.  Not only does it have a full-length Halloween feature, but it also has a Christmas one.  So you can start getting into the holiday spirit a little early, as you will probably run into Christmas decorations while you are out Halloween shopping. :-)

My girls were so excited when I received this DVD in the mail the other day, as they are all about the holidays and Halloween and Christmas are their favorites.  This new DVD release contains the following two full-length episodes, which run 22 minutes each:

  • The Scariest Story Ever: A Mickey Mouse Halloween Spooktacular
  • Duck The Halls: A Mickey Mouse Christmas Special

At only 22 minutes in length each, this DVD is perfect for kids of ages, and can be watched in one sitting, or split up if you aren't ready to watch Christmas stuff just yet.  My girls loved these two episodes, especially the Halloween one.  As soon as the episode was over the girls asked if we could decorate our house like Mickey did.  I guess we will be making a stop at the store this weekend to buy some decorations. :-)  But, in the meantime, the girls have this DVD on repeat in the DVD player.  They can't get enough of this DVD, and are more excited about Halloween and Christmas thanks to it. :-)

If your family loves holiday movies, especially Halloween and Christmas, then you will want to pick up this new DVD.  This is definitely one DVD your family will enjoy each year, as you get ready for the holidays. :-)
