Now Available to Own on DVD from NCircle Entertainment - Mily Miss Questions: Season 1 (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent a DVD from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

If you follow my  blog then you know that I homeschool my two girls ages 5.5 and 7.  So, I am always looking for fun educational DVDs to share with them as part of our curriculum.  So, when I heard about this DVD from NCircle Entertainment, who I have been featuring their DVDs for years, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy to share with my girls and then share a review for my readers who love DVDs like this one -- one that is not only fun and engaging for young children, but also teaches them something at the same time.  And, this DVD does just that.  If you are unfamiliar with the Mily Miss Questions series, here is more about the Season One DVD, I was sent to review, and that contains 24 full length episodes...

"Join Mily, a funny and inquisitive 8-year-old girl, as she embarks on adventures hoping to answer the many questions she has about life, people, and the world. In this collection of twenty four episodes, join Mily and her friends as they investigate everyday situations from learning how to deal with fear to playing by the rules to using your imagination and so much more.

My girls really enjoyed this DVD, which has a run time of 175 minutes.  Having not seen this series before, they were excited to meet Mily, who is a funny and inquisitive 8-year old, who embarks on fun adventures while answering many questions she has about life, people and the world.  She is just like my girls...full of questions and always asking away, hoping to be enlightened, or working towards finding answers for themselves.

As a parent, I really like the way the stories are told and how they have a young girl playing a detective of sorts, as she turns every day situations into an opportunity to explore and learn.  Mily introduces young viewers to the art of questioning in order to grow and learn more about the world around them.  My girls really enjoyed the stories and can't wait for me to pick up more seasons from this series, so that they can go on more adventures with Mily and learn more.  I loved hearing about the stories they watched and what they learned from each.  And, they have been busy telling family and friends about this cool new series and everything they have learned, and the different questions Mily posed and answered along the way. :-)  I love seeing the girls get excited about a series like this, and hearing them talk about everything they learned.  See, you can have fun watching something, and learn at the same time. :-)
