Synopsis:
After mysterious visitors arrive in the Kingdom, Princess Alise, Lucas and their friends go undercover on a secret spy adventure to see if they can be trusted. They will need all of their superior detective skills as well as some super cool gadgets to solve the royal mystery and save the Kingdom.

My Thoughts:
We watched THE SWAN PRINCESS: ROYALLY UNDERCOVER as part of our family movie night last night, and it was a hit with everyone. My girls have watched a previous The Swan Princess movie, so they quickly remembered the princess. This got the excited to see what crazy adventure Princess Alise would take them on next. I even planned a few fun activities to do with the girls after the movie including coloring the coloring sheet I am sharing below as part of my DVD giveaway contest. I also picked up some cool spy kits at the dollar store. One included the magic ink pen that they needed a black light to reveal their secret note. I also found magic ink that I loved as a kid, where you squirt the bottle onto clothes and it looks like an ink spill. But, then seconds later it begins to fade. The girls also completed decipher message codes, which they couldn't get enough of and asked for me.
As far as the movie, it kept the girls' attention from start to finish. They even sat for the bonus feature which they got to see Mary Kate in the recording studio. They thought this was really neat and learned about voice overing. My girls are already asking to watch this movie again, and loved being detectives themselves just like Princess Alise, Lucas and their friends were in solving the Kindgom mystery.
If your kids loved The Swan Princess movie I shared last year, then you will definitely want to pick up this new release to share with them. It makes for a wonderful family movie night.
