Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Daniel Visits the Farm DVD

This DVD arrived at just the right time as we were surprising the girls with tickets to the Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" Live show, which is touring all through North America right now.  We didn't tell the girls where we were going, but instead brought this DVD in the car for them to watch.

As we drove to the theater I listened to the girls chatting about how much they love this show and how much fun it would be if they could visit Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.  Boy, were they in for a treat, as they would get to see Daniel and all his friends soon enough, right in front of their eyes. :-)

When we got to the theater they were quick to notice the banner advertising the show.  Their eyes lit up as they asked if they were going to see the show, and more importantly see Daniel Tiger.  I said "yes" as the girls let out a scream, that I think everyone in the parking lot heard. :-)  Not only was the live show a hit with the girls, but they had so much fun watching the "Daniel Visits the Farm" DVD on the way there and back. They weren't getting bored of the four already seen episodes that make up this 1-hr. DVD.  Instead, they asked when the snow would go away so that they could visit a farm like Daniel. I couldn't agree more with them about the snow.  And, visiting a farm sounds good right now, thanks to the new DVD release featuring everyone's favorite tiger.

Savannah says that this DVD is tigeriffic, and that you better pick it up today! :-)

One of the key ingredients that makes the series a standout is its groundbreaking use of catchy musical strategies, grounded in Fred Rogers’ landmark social-emotional curriculum, that reinforce each theme and that preschoolers and parents both sing – and use – together in their daily lives. DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD, which debuted in September 2012, airs daily on PBS KIDS (check local listings)."
