Whenever the holidays roll around where I have to buy things for the girls for baskets or stockings, I try to limit the amount of sweets and chocolate I give them. They are full of energy as it that they don’t need more sugar. So, with Easter fast approaching, I have been keeping an eye out for non-candy gifts that I could pick up to add to their baskets. I like to find things that are not too messy and that the girls can do on their own or bring along for car rides or when out and about to keep them busy. So, when I stumbled upon Color Wonder Mess Free Coloring Color On-The-Go from Crayola at the store the other day, I knew these would be perfect. I had the girls with me so I couldn’t pick up during that shopping trip. But, when I arrived home, I couldn’t help but laugh as the folks from Crayola sent me a sampling of their new Color On-the-Go sets for my girls to try out. The girls saw me looking at the coloring sets at the store and then saw them at home. They, too, thought they were cool and couldn’t wait to try them out. Thankfully, we were sent 4 of these sets – Disney Princess,Shimmer and Shine, PJ Masks and Paw Patrol (each retails for only $4.99 - a steal if you ask me!).

Are you familiar with Crayola Color Wonder Mess Free Coloring? If not and you have little ones you will want to check these coloring sets out as they come with special (or magic as my girls call them) markers and special coloring pages . The markers look white when you look at them. But, when you start coloring on the coloring pages, the color appears.
This is the mess-free feature as you don’t have to worry about your children taking the markers and drawing on themselves, furniture or wall, as it will not show us. The color only appears when you pair it with the special Crayola Color Wonder Mess Free coloring pages.
The new On-the-Go sets come with 15 coloring pages and 3 markers, all stored within a small compact easy to open and close container. It looks like a small book and when you open it up, the markers on stored on one side and the pages are on the other. My girls were already familiar with the Color Wonder product offering from Crayola, so I didn’t have to explain why the markers looked white. They had so much fun coloring in the pictures of their favorite characters. By the end of the afternoon the girls had colored all 15 pages in the set I gave them, and my refrigerator was covered with their “magic” works of art. I stashed away the Paw Patrol and the Shimmer & Shine Crayola Color Wonder Mess Free Coloring sets for when we were in the car or dining out, as I knew they would keep the girls entertained…and that they did. :-)
I have since picked up more of these on-the-go sets from Crayola to add to their Easter baskets, as well as store in the car when they girls need to be distracted and entertained. These sets would also make for great party favors, an add on to a fun Crayola Color Wonder Mess Free gift basket you may create for one your child’s friends’ birthday party. However you choose to surprise that special child in your life with this on-the-go, just know it will make them smile as they will get all excited about their favorite characters on the coloring pages enclosed, and it will keep them busy. They would come in handy today on this rainy day as the girls are stuck in the house and looking for something to do. I guess I will go out and grab two of the on-the-go sets from the car. :-)
