Experience the Magic of Christmas When You Visit Charmingfare Farm in NH This Season

Charmingfare Farm offers 3 great Holiday events for your family. Christmas Tree Spree (FREE admission for this event), Santa's Big Party and the horse-drawn Lighted Winter Wonderland.

Santa’s Big Party

Last weekend I took the girls up north to visit with the grandparents and do a fun sleepover.  In addition to the sleepover, we took the Max and Ruby Nutcracker show before heading up into NH to visit with Santa and friends at the Charmingfare Farm.  This was the first time we had visited Charmingfare Farm...but, it will not be our last!  We had so much.  After walking through the gift shop, which smells amazing thanks to the candles they sell there, we headed out into the farm area. Boy, is this place huge.  As we walked through the property, it felt like it went on for miles.  Walking through the path, we came upon various barns and out buildings that you could go in and visit with the animals, which included goats, cows and even bunnies.

Be sure you buy a bag of food to feed the animals at the gift shop, as this is a highlight for the kids. My girls especially loved going into the goats pen and feeding them up close.

After we were done visiting with the animals, we continued on to a bonfire that was lit and there to keep to guests warm.  After we warmed up a bit, we stood in line for our turn on the horse drawn ride that took us through the holiday displays and lights at Charmingfare Farm.  During the ride we even got to see the Grinch and Frosty the Snowman.  Note: If you are planning to do the Lighted Winter Wonderland, be sure to bring a blanket to snuggle under while on the horse drawn ride.  The night we went it was really cold, in the single digits, and didn't think to bring a blanket.  We saw those who come annually with one, and said, we would bring one next year.

The horse drawn ride dropped us off over at Santa's village, where we were able to walk around and meet with some of Santa;s friends in costume...elves, a snowman, Rudolph and others.

Have your camera ready as the kids will want to hug and high five these costumed characters before making their way over to see Santa and his reindeer.

Yes, the folks at Charmingfare Farm have reindeer -- all 8 of Santa's reindeer to be premise.

And, if you have food leftover from feeding the goats earlier, you can feed the reindeer, too. If not, you can buy more food for the reindeer, as well as cocoa and s'mores kits, which you can roast and enjoy by the bonfire.

You get to take the horse drawn ride back to the entrance, where you can visit again with the petting zoo animals, or do a little holiday shopping their gift shop, which has toys, plush animals, candles and gifts for the home, candy and so much more.  We had a blast at our night out at the Lighted Winter Wonderland at Charmingfare Farm.  The cold temperatures couldn't stop us and the many other families who came out (the parking lot was packed) to enjoy this fun family-friendly holiday event.  We can't wait until next year.  I am especially looking forward to their Easter Egg hunt.
