SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS -- Now Available on DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital and DMA (Review) #SnowWhite

Disclosure: I was sent a review copy from the vendor in order to write up an hones review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

With the snow expected to fall on the east coast tomorrow, most people are rushing to the store to stock up on milk, bread, eggs, water and other necessities to get us through the storm. Are you ready to hunker down and wait to see how much snow we'll get?  If you still have to run to the store, why not consider picking up a copy of the new Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which was released this past Tuesday on Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital), to share with your family.

We were recently sent the movie to review and I couldn't wait to share it with the girls, as they had never seen it before.  Every time I wanted to sit down and watch it with the girls, they would ask to see something else.  They said it wasn't the other princess movies they were used.  I would tell them that Snow White was the first Disney princess and that this used to be my favorite movie growing up...but, it never swayed them.  But, I was hoping that now that they were getting older, that they would be more willing to watch this movie...and, guess what?....they were.  They couldn't wait to watch it!

So, the other night after dinner, we snuggled up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and watched Snow White.  The girls couldn't get enough of the seven dwarfs.  Their favorites were Grumpy and Dopey.  I loved watching them giggle and smile at the movie. And, when the movie was over, they were quick to ask when we could watch it again.  :-)  We have only had the Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital) copy for a few days, but have already watched it three times so far, with the girls continuing to ask to see it again and again.  I don't object as I love watching it and it reminds me of my childhood.  I am also a huge Dopey fan, so it is nice to share this with the girls and be able to talk about the different scenes and characters...now that they have seen the movie.

In addition the classic Snow White and Seven Dwarfs movie we all grew up watching, this new release also includes the following bonus features, which in and off themselves are worth the purchase of this new Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital) --

Blu-ray & Digital* Bonus Features:

In Walt’s Words: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – For the first time ever, hear Walt himself talk about Snow White

Iconography – Explore how this film influences pop culture, art, and fashion.

The Fairest Facts of Them All: 7 Facts You May Now Know About Snow White – Disney Channel star Sofia Carson reveals seven intriguing facts about Snow White.

Snow White in Seventy Seconds – Rap along with this hip re-imagining of the story.

Alternate Sequence: The Prince Meets Snow White – A never–before-seen story board sequence where the Prince meets Snow White.

*Digital bonus offerings may vary by retailer

My favorite of all the bonus features was hearing Walt Disney himself talk about this movie and the characters.  Walt truly was a genius when it came to animation and I don't think we will see anyone else like him in our time.

Another bonus feature that both myself and my girls loved watching was The Fairest Facts of Them All: 7 Facts You May Now Know About Snow White, which featured Disney Channel star, Sofia Carson.  Don't worry I will not spoil this bonus feature for you.  I will, however, say that it was very interesting to learn about these facts and it made for watching the movie a second time with the girls that much more enjoyable.

And, for those who love deleted scenes or alternate endings, the bonus feature sections offers an Alternate Sequence: The Prince Meets Snow White that is a must watch.  This never-before-seen story board will show another sequence of the prince and Snow White meeting.  While I prefer the one that is in the movie, it was nice to see this alternative one.

I could go on and on about how wonderful this new Walt Disney Signature Collection’s release is, but you just how great this epic story is. It captivated hearts when it first released and continues to do so, with my legions of fans year after year.  My girls can't get enough of this movie and I love falling in love with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs all over again, too!

So, with the snow expected to keep most on the East coast grounded this weekend, why not pick up a copy of the new Walt Disney Signature Collection of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs today? Or, buy a digital copy or Disney Anywhere, and gather the family to watch this enchanting and inspiring story of love and friendship again, or for the first time.

I ended up watching the bonus feature the first night we got the Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital) of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, as I was looking forward to this since hearing about the release a few months back.

And, don't forget to follow https://www.facebook.com/DisneySnowWhite  where fans of Snow White can share their memories of this classic tale and love for this new release.  I can't wait to hear what you think of the movie and the bonus features, so be sure to share in the comments section below.
