Just like Christmas time, one of my favorite things about Valentine's Day is all the sappy romantic movies on television.  Usually when the girls and my husband go to bed, I will tune to the Hallmark Channel or put in a DVD from my growing collection to watch.  This is the perfect way to unwind after a crazy day, especially if you have a nice glass of one wine to sip, or a warm blanket to snuggle under.

Back on January 12th, the folks at Cinedigm released two movies to DVD, which are sure to become a hit with fans of cute, romantic films.  Both movies, "All of My Heart" and "So You Said Yes" have already aired on the Hallmark Channel, in case their titles or cover art sound or look familiar.  Being a busy mom, I never get to see the movies when they first air on television, so am always waiting for them to arrive on DVD and pick up and watch when I can.

"So You Said Yes" has been on my radar of movies to grab when they arrived on DVD, as I am a huge fan of Kellie Martin.  I loved her back in the day in the hit television series, "Life Goes On" and then in "Christy."  She is such an amazing actress and always makes her characters feel real and relatable, as she does yet again in this romantic movie.

Here is more about "So You Said Yes" including the official movie trailer...

About the movie:

"In SO YOU SAID YES, when Annabelle (Kellie Martin), the owner of a specialty bridal shop, falls for Sam, the son of her fierce bridal shop competition, she must fend off Sam's mother's attempts at sabotage to be with the man she loves."

And, the trailer...

I was able to get my husband to sit down and watch this movie with me last week, and we both really enjoyed it. We both found ourselves rooting for Annabelle to wind up with Sam, despite all his mother's sabotaging.

Does this story end with a happily ever after?  You will just have to pick up the DVD and watch it for yourself to find out. :-)

The other movie released by Cinedigm back on January 12th, which features Lacey Chabert from Party of Five, is "ALL OF MY HEART".  I couldn't get my husband to sit for this as he never was a fan of Lacey and still thinks she is too young to play a grown up in love.  I think he may be in denial at how old we really are -- we aren't teenagers anymore and other actors grow up, too. :-)  Just saying, honey!

Here is more about "All of My Heart," including the official movie trailer...

About the movie:

"A young caterer’s (Lacey Chabert) life suddenly changes course when she inherits a country home and learns she must share it with a career-obsessed Wall Street trader in ALL OF MY HEART. At first, these opposites do not attract, but feelings begin to change when they find themselves having to work side-by-side to restore their newly acquired home. The heartfelt original movie also stars Ed Asner."

And, the trailer...

Looks like a really good movie, right?  It was!  I ended up watching this movie and quickly passed it along to a few girlfriends to watch, who also agreed it was the perfect heartwarming story, perfect for Valentine's Day, with your sweetie or even your girlfriends.

So, if you are a fan of romantic flicks or just need a reason to get the girlfriends together for a girls' night in with wine and chick flicks, then you will want to make a point to pick up these two recent DVD releases from Cinedigm.  I thoroughly enjoyed them, and know you will, too!
