Gather the Family Round the TV for Two Heartwarming Christmas Films from Cinedigm -- Review and #Giveaway

Disclosure:  I was sent screener copies from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

T'is the season for holiday movies, especially ones you can share with your family as you snuggle up under a warm blanket this upcoming holiday season.  Here are two recent releases (Nov. 3rd) from Cinedigm.

If your family loves dogs, then you will want to watch "A Christmas Tail" together.  "Starring Antonio Cupo (American Mary) and Chandra West (White Noise), A CHRISTMAS TAIL shares the heartwarming story of two single parents that fall in love while “splitting custody” over a puppy they both wanted to give their children for Christmas."

What would you do if you found a dog at an animal shelter and adopted it, only to find it beloved to someone else and they want it back.  Well, this happened in this recent release and instead of returning the dog to the rightful owner, the owner and adopted family decided to share the dog.  While I am not sure if I would ever be able to share a dog with someone else, it worked out in this family friendly movie and even brought together two single parents.  Do they live happily ever after?  Well, let's just say the little boy in the movie asked for a family for Christmas.  :-)

We watched this movie the other night with the girls and everyone loved it.  Yes, I did have a box of tissues next to me, but didn't need to use.  This was a surprise as I always cry during heartwarming movies. :-)

The recent release from Cinedigm back on November 3rd, which my family also loved is "Christmas Trade." This was a really cute movie and featured many familiar faces including Denise Richards, William Baldwin and Tom Arnold, to name a few.

Ever wish you could change places with your child so that they can see how hard it is being an adult?  Well, this is what happened in "Christmas Trade" between a father and son.  Thanks to a funny looking teddy bear with magic powers, they switched bodies and have to live in the other person's shoes.  Just watching the father and son experience what the other goes through on a day to day basis was enjoyable and had the family laughing together throughout the movie.  Here is a quick trailer to give you an idea about how fun this family family is and how it would make for a great family movie night this upcoming holiday season...

Including all-star cast Denise Richards (Drop Dead Gorgeous), Tom Arnold (True Lies) and William Baldwin (Backdraft), CHRISTMAS TRADE tells the story of a single father and his son both wrapped up in their own issues until a mysterious toy causes them to live the holidays in each other’s shoes.

This is one of my favorite times of the year, mainly because of all the wonderful family friendly movies that bring families together and let them spend quality time together watching heartwarming films.  We have a blast sharing these two movies with the girls and plan to watch them again when family and friends come to visit during the upcoming weeks, as we await Santa's arrival.  If you love heartwarming holiday films just as much as family does, then you will definitely want to check out these two recent DVD releases from Cinedigm today.
