It is hard to find a movie with sequels, let alone a trilogy, that my husband and I both love. Usually we will watch a movie because the other one wants to see it, and they watched one we wanted to previously. But, on those rare occasions where we find a movie we both want to see and love, these tend to be ones we will together over and over again, when we flip through the channels on television and come across it, or we can't decide on a movie to watch come Friday night date night. One movie that comes to mind is Twilight -- and, this is part of a trilogy, so it makes for a great movie marathon, when we both find ourselves with energy after a long week, or want to enjoy a double feature, like the good 'ole days.
Are you a fan of the Twilight trilogy? How about your sweetie? My husband and I have lost count on how many times we have seen the three movies. But, with any epic trilogy, we never get bored of it. :-) If you are one of the few who has never seen one or all three of these movies -- shame on you. Just kidding! I highly recommend the Twilight trilogy, with the final movie being my favorite, if you are looking for a movie to watch come movie night. Families with older children (tweens/teens) will also enjoy watching any of the three movies that make up this amazing trilogy. While my girls are too young to watch Twilight, I know that when they are old enough, the movie will still be relevant and will be just as entertaining for them, as it was for my husband and I the first time we saw these movies.
Don't worry, I will not bore you with a review of each movie, as you can find trailers, clips and in-depth reviews from hundreds of online sources simply by doing a "Twilight" search. What I did want to share was how this new The Twilight Saga: Extended Editions Triple Feature, which arrived on Blu-Ray (plus Digital HD) and DVD (plus Digital) would make for a great Valentine's Day gift for that special person in your life who is a die hard "Twilight" fan. Even though our youngest daughter's name is Arabella, we love calling her Bella, partly because of the lead character in this successful franchise. :-) And, we are not alone, as Bella, Jacob and Edward have become popular baby names as a result of the Twilight movies.
So, what are you waiting for? Pick up the new The Twilight Saga: Extended Editions Triple Feature and share it with your sweetheart this Valentine's Day, or call the girls over for a Girls Night In movie marathon night, as you all sip wine, enjoy pizza and girl chat, while talking about what team you are on...Team Edward or Team Jacob. :-) I am Team Edward all the way!!! :-)
My husband and I have been having a blast reliving favorite scenes from these three movies, and love having all the movies on one DVD.
