NICKELODEON’S NEW HIT SERIES BLAZE AND THE MONSTER MACHINES:
MAKES ITS DVD DEBUT ON FEBRUARY 17, 2015

Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory DVD Features 60-Minute Movie Plus Bonus Episode Supercharged With STEM Curriculum

Have you caught the new animated series which airs daily on Nickelodeon and features talking monster trucks?  From the moment Savannah saw the previews for this show, she had me set the DVR to record this show and has been tuning in each day.  You would think that a show about talking monster trucks would be geared towards boys, but not this show.  Girls love it, and are learning a lot at it relates to math and science.  Yes, you read that right.  This animated series is not only fun to watch, but also teaching children about the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum.

Not only perfect for homeschooling parents of young children, but Blaze and the Monster Machines is a great way to get girls especially excited about math and science and even technology.  My husband makes a point each evening to sit down with both our girls to watch this show and they talk back to the television, to help Blaze and AJ solve problems posed.  Using STEM concepts including adhesion, friction, force, trajectory and magnetism, each and every episode of this new show, will draw children of all ages in and have them putting their thinking caps on to help Blaze tackle problems.

I love watching my girls get excited about math and science and even use what they learned on the show to create their on hypothesis to test.  Who knew that learning about science and math could be so much fun, or even be taught to preschoolers by talking monster trucks?  Once you watch Blaze and the Monster Machines, you will see why my girls and so many other children tune in each day to watch this hit show, and will be asking their parents to pick up the new DVD when it hits store shelves on February 17th.
