This past weekend the girls and I watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Adventures of The Cutie Mark Crusaders, which arrives on DVD in the US and Canada next week on Feb. 24th. In addition, I also download a fun new cutie Pox Storybook app from Playdate Digital, which brings the story of the cutie mark and this upcoming release to life.
My girls are fans of MLP, but always questioned the different cutie marks each of their favorite ponies had. Savannah wondered where they go them, why and how they were chosen. I have been a fan of MLP since I was a child, but I have to admit that I didn't know how the ponies got their cutie marks. So, this upcoming release was great for everyone, as we learned all about the Cutie Marks. Did you know that they are a coming of age mark for the ponies? And, that they receive their mark after they discover a unique characteristic about themselves?
