JOIN YOUR FAVORITE NICK JR. FRIENDS TO LEARN ABOUT COLORS, NUMBERS AND THE ABC’S -- New 3-DVD Set Now Available! (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent a screener copy from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

One of the many benefits of having my girls so close in age (they are only 15 months apart) is that Bella, the youngest, is learning from Savannah.  Right now, they are almost even in their vocabulary and things they know how to do.  And, with Savannah now is preschool, she loves coming home to tell Bella all about her day and sharing what she learned with her.  So, it is like Bella is getting a mini lesson without having to go to preschool.  In addition to Savannah teaching her new things, I love being able to sit down with the girls and watch educational shows with them that teach them about counting, colors, ABC's and more.

When it comes to educational programs, I find that shows that feature their favorite character like Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clue's, Bubble Guppies, etc, keep their attention more and have them interacting more when there are pauses in between for the girls to shout out answers.  So, when I heard that a new 3-DVD set titled "Let's Learn was releasing on 9/9," I had to get my hands on a couple to share with the girls.  The three DVDs that make up this fun educational set perfect for preschoolers and toddlers, focuses on teaching little ones about the ABC's, Colors and 123's, with the help of their favorite Nick Jr. friends.

As a parent, I love how the subjects are separated onto the three DVDs, so that I can share one topic like the ABC's with the girls, and then talk and practice with the after each episode.  With the exception of the ABC's DVD, which contains 6 episodes, the other two DVDs that make up this set offer 5 full-length episodes for your kids to enjoy.  Both of my girls love how they get to enjoy all the different Nick Jr. characters as part of this set, instead of having a box set with just one character.  It gives them an assortment and this helps keeps them engaged and wanting to see what episode is only next.

Whether I am spending one-on-one time with Bella watching 1-2 episodes while Savannah is in preschool, or the girls are sitting together watching and learning, I have seen Bella grow in her understanding of colors and her number counting ability, thanks in part to these fun-filled DVDs.  If you have little ones who enjoy the different Nick Jr. shows, and you are looking for a wonderful selection of educational DVDs to share with them, this is one DVD set worth picking up.  Like I said, your children will be able to enjoy episodes from hit shows including Team Umizoomi, Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, Wonder Pets!, and Blue's Clues, just to name a few.

We have only had this 3-DVD set for a short time, but have already watched the entire collection a handful of times.  And, even though the girls have already seen the episodes and know what they answers to questions posed to them are, they still love to shout of their responses, or wait to see what happens next, as if it is the first time watching it.  With the holidays fast approaching, this 3-DVD set would also make for a great stocking stuffer idea. :-)
