My girls can't go a day without dressing up as princesses, especially Sofia from Disney Junior's hit animated series, Sofia the First. We have even run errands on a few occasions with them dressed up in their fancy ball gowns, as they didn't want to take them off. :-)  And, when they are not pretending to be princesses or hosting royal tea parties for their stuffed animals, they love to throw all the pillows and blankets that they can find onto the living room floor, in front of the television, and settle in to watch Sofia the First each day on Disney Junior.  Usually, we will catch it in the AM, and then again before bedtime either on television or by watching a few episodes on the growing Sofia the First DVD collection we have started. And, now the girls have another great DVD to add to this collection, as "Sofia the First: The Enchanted Feast" arrives on DVD today.

As soon as the girls saw me full the DVD out of the package the other day, they were by my side, with every turn, asking when they could watch it.  Even though they had already seen the episodes prior on television, they were still eager to watch one of their favorite Disney princesses.  Savannah even noticed on the front of the DVD that there was a special surprise inside, an enchanted mirror.  She was smart enough not to tell this to Bella, as she knew they would have fought over who would get it.  They are still working on sharing their toys, so I am still buying duplicates of them, to prevent fighting.

Thanks to this DVD arriving in the mail, lunch and dinner time were made a breeze, as I told the girls that if they ate their food without issue, that we would watch a few episodes that make up this DVD after each meal.  They were on their best behavior, and licked their plates clean...just so that they could get their Sofia fix. :-)

I ended up waiting to show the enchanted mirror that was included inside the DVD case to the girls until the next day, as I didn't want them to fight and had to find one of their talking Disney princess mirrors we had.  Luckily, Bella wasn't that into the mirror, so Savannah took sole possession of it.  Instead, Bella was too busy dressing up as Sofia and hosting a grand feast of her own for her Sofia the First character friends and other plush toys.

With 110 minutes of run-time, this DVD will surely delight any Sofia the First fan in your life.  My girls had a blast watching all 5 full-length already aired episodes, over and over again these past few days.  Even though my girls loved watching each of the episodes that make up this new DVD release, I have to say that their favorite was the "The Enchanted Feast," which featured a guest appearance by Snow White.  The girls always go crazy when a Disney princess, including Cinderella and Snow White, stop by to visit Sofia, and lend a hand.  In this fun-filled episode, Snow White stops by to remind Sofia the importance of trusting your instincts.
