Looking for something to do this upcoming weekend?  How about taking the family to the movies to see the niew Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue movie?  We took the girls last week to see the movie, and had a blast!  Even if you didn't see the first Disney Planes movie, you can still see this sequel and follow along.  My parents will be taking the girls again this weekend to see it, as they can't stop talking about it.  And, when they are not dancing around to the movie soundtrack which features songs from Brad Paisley and others, they are having fun making their Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue puzzle from Ravensburger.

There are four puzzles in the new collection, all based on the just-released Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue animated movie. Each puzzle, perfect for children ages 5+, even though Savannah who is 4 yrs. old was able to make it without a problem, has beautiful artwork featuring the 'high-flying' characters from this hit animated movie franchise.  We were recently the Planes: Fire & Rescue: Always In Action, which includes a two puzzles to make.

Each puzzle piece has a design on the back to let you know which scene the piece is for.

I loved this feature, as I didn't have to sit down and try to compare each puzzle piece to the picture to determine which piece goes with which scene.  And, when Savannah was solving the puzzle on her own, she was able to separate the puzzle pieces according to its scene.

The Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue puzzle line-up from Ravensburger includes the following:

• Planes: Fire & Rescue: Real Rescue Planes - 3 49-pc puzzles of the three main character planes - Dusty, Windlifter and Blade Ranger. Ages 5+, SRP $11.49

• Planes: Fire & Rescue: Fighting the Fire - 100pc XXL Puzzle the measures 19.5" x 14.25" when completed. The image is a mid-air scene of the character planes. Ages 6+, SRP $13.49

• Planes: Fire & Rescue: Always In Action - 2 24-pc puzzles that when completed measures 10" x 7". One scene depicts the fire house with the helpful fire rescue vehicles, and the other of the planes in flight. Ages 4+, SRP $11.49

• Planes: Fire & Rescue: Glorious Rescue Team - a 150pc XXL Puzzle with finished dimensions of 19.5" x 14.25". The scene is of the airborne planes and the fire rescue vehicle on the ground. Ages 6+, SRP $13.49

If you have a Disney Planes in your house, why not surprise them with one (or more) of the new Ravensburger puzzles?  They will spend hours putting together and taking the puzzles apart, and they come in handy on rainy days, like we have been experiencing these past few days. And, with the holidays fast approaching, these Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue puzzles from Ravensburger would make for a great stocking stuffer or gift idea for that special Disney Planes fan in your life.  We will definitely be picking up the other three puzzles for the girls to enjoy, as well as giving a few as gifts this Christmas.
