My Thoughts:

I have been looking for a relaxing bedtime book to read to my youngest daughter, as she seems to get excited with colorful books we have been reading come bedtime.  After searching and searching, I found the perfect book for her that offers soft glowing illustrations with rhyming words from bestselling author, Patsy Clairmont.

We were sent a copy of Patsy's new book, which releases on June 10th (Pre-order now for only $12.99), thanks to the kind folks at Tommy Nelson.  The first night I read this book to Bella, I loved watching her lay still  staring at the beautiful illustrations of the moon and little child getting ready to drift off to sleep.  And, since that time, Bella continues to ask for it each night at bedtime.  When we are done reading this cute story that will surely get your little one ready for a sweet sleep.

In addition to this wonderfully written bedtime story is that it comes in a board book format, making it ready for even the youngest of children to enjoy, without worrying that they will reach for and tear a page from the book.  Bella especially loves to help me turn the page, and sturdy board books like these make for easy page turning for little hands.

If you are looking for a great bedtime book to share with your child, you will want to check out Patsy Clairmont's new book, "Sleep Sweet My Little One."  You and your child(ren) will find yourselves reaching for this book every night as part of your child's bedtime routine.  It really is a great book to end each day, followed up by prayer, snuggle and lots of kisses. :-)

  2. My son is only 10 months old, but I heard recently that someone used a spray bottle with water or something for "scaring away" monsters in the closet, under the bed, etc. I might tell him someday that we can pretend that the angels are bowling in heaven when thunder claps come. Mostly, though, I'd try to emphasize that we can pray for God's protection when we're afraid and then pray with him.
