Food Should Taste Good

Recently, I was sent a bag of each of the four flavors of Food Should Taste Good's new Pita Puffs to try out with my family.  Having been a fan of this brand for quite some time, I am always eager to try out new product additions, and this one is yet another winner. :-)

Available in four sophisticated flavors - Pesto, Chive, Cinnamon Sugar, and Multigrain - these pita puffs are big on flavor with a light, crisp texture.

Pita Puffs Chive
Enjoy the mild onion flavor of chives baked into every bite of this crisp and airy snack.

Pita Puffs Cinnamon Sugar
Cinnamon and Sugar make this crisp and airy snack the perfect sweet and salty combination.

Pita Puffs Multigrain
Enjoy our twist on the traditional multigrain pita in a fun crisp and airy form.

Pita Puffs Pesto
We bake basil into every bite to create our twist on this Italian favorite in a crisp and airy form.

Leave it to the folks at Food Should Take Good to come out with unique flavors that you would otherwise not expect to find on snack food shelves. Pesto is one flavor that I have not seen before, but was excited to try in this crispy pita puff form.  One of the things I learned to make from my Italian grandmother was homemade pesto sauce, which I add to pasta dishes (hot and cold) as well as to meat.  So, I know how rich in flavor the herbs that make up pesto can be.  Because of this, I wasn't sure what I would think of the pesto pita puffs.  But, after reaching in and taking a few out to try, I couldn't resist reaching for another handful and another.  Yes, you can taste the rich pesto flavors including basil, garlic and onion, as well as olive oil.  But, with the crispy, yet airy form of the pita puff, it works.  I can see these particular pita puffs being served alongside a nice homemade mozzarella cheese dip, or enjoyed right out of the bag, especially during upcoming summer cookouts.

As for the three other flavors, chive, multigrain and cinnamon sugar, they, too, packed a lot of flavor, and were addicting.  Since being sent the sample bags, I have purchased more of the cinnamon sugar and pesto flavors for my family.  The girls just love salty sweet combination of the Cinnamon sugar pita puffs, and will ask for these over potato chips or other snack chips.  And, they are perfect size for their little hands, which Savannah is quick to point.  At first, she thought they were made for kids, until she saw her daddy and I reaching for them, and enjoying the four different pita puffs snacks from Food Should Taste Good, just as much as they were.

If you are looking for all natural snack food to replace less than health snacks you currently stock your pantry with, why not consider picking up a few bags of these Pita Puffs from Food Should Taste Good?  This brand also offers kettle cooked potato chips and tortilla chips in unique flavors, which brown rice crackers coming soon.
