Another Great Bingo Game from eeBoo...Just in Time for Easter (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Early last week I shared a post with you showcasing a few new spring additions to the eeBoo product offering.  If you missed my post you can read it here -- http://www.inspiredbysavannah.com/2014/03/fill-your-childs-easter-basket-with-fun.html.  In my post, I reviewed a fun Bingo game that preschoolers would love playing.  Savannah can't get enough of this game.  And, when my parents came to visit this past weekend, this was the first game she pulled out and asked my mom to play with her.  Just like I was, my mother was impressed with the beautifully illustrated bingo tiles, which featured different animals and nature scenes.  And, unlike other Bingo games where you call off numbers and letters, which makes it difficult for young children to play, eeBoo's Bingo games have players looking at their game boards to see if they have the illustration on the title pulled from the bag on their board.  If they do, they get that tile to place on their board.  The first player to fill their game board with tiles is the winner and can yell out "Bingo" to win. :-) Fun game, huh?  It really is, and one I see my kids and I playing for a long time to come.

So, when I was asked by the folks at eeBoo if I wanted to review another Bingo game, I jumped at the opportunity.  Seeing how much fun we have been having with the "Life on Earth" Simple Bingo game, I couldn't wait to share another version with the girls.

What Do You Know Bingo features the artwork of acclaimed children’s book illustrator Melissa Sweet. With 48 illustrated bingo tiles, and 6 game boards, players learn interesting facts about the planet and its inhabitants as they play. Learn fun facts, like that a Shooting Star isn’t really a star (it’s a meteor), and that Polar Bears have black skin to better absorb solar warmth. As an added bonus, What Do You Know Bingo is made of 90% Recycled Greyboard!

What sets this Bingo apart from the one I reviewed back on 3/27 is that this one deals with the planets and its inhabitants.  And, unlike the"Life on Earth" Simple Bingo game, kids will also learn while having fun as each of the game tiles contain fun facts as it relates to the planet.

Even though my daughters are too young to truly appreciate and take in these fun tidbits of information, they did love looking at the beautiful artwork of acclaimed children's author, Melissa Sweet, as she lends her talent to fill 48 bingo tiles with breathtaking illustrations.  Way before we started playing this fun Bingo game, the girls and I found ourselves captivated by the Bingo tiles and admiring each and every one, as I read the fun facts to the girls. I think I am ready for trivia night with all the facts I learned. :-)

When it came time to play the What Do You Know Bingo from eeBoo, the girls and I had a blast.  With 6 games boards that come with this game, we each took 2 to play.  With an average game taking 10-15 minutes to play at best, you will find yourself playing best 2 out 3, or having mini Bingo tournaments to see who is the best Bingo player. :-)  Savannah always seemed to pick the winning cards, while Bella and I found ourselves waiting for that one tile to be pulled from the bag.

Clean up was a breeze thanks to the cloth bag that this Bingo came comes with (as does the other eeBoo Bingo games).  So, I didn't have to worry about the titles going missing or falling out of the box, if the girls were grabbing games from our game closet.

And, at only $15.95 for this new Bingo game from eeBoo, you can't go wrong with the price.  Like I have shared in previous eeBoo review posts...
