My Thoughts:

Not only did my nephew and a couple of his friends take in the Scooby-Doo Live! show at the Hanover Theatre this past weekend, but our Friday night movie selection was none other than tomorrow release, Scooby-Doo: Wrestlemania Mystery, which stars Scooby-Doo and some of the best WWE superstars.

When i was growing up, I used to love watching wrestling with my dad and two brothers.  And, whenever there was a Wrestlemania on PPV, we had the neighborhood kids and usually their dads over to watch it.  But, as I got older and realized that the wrestling was fake (oh no did I upset wrestling fans, sorry if I did), I stopped watching it.  But, when my nephew came to live with us, my husband found a new wrestling buddy to watch WWE wrestling with.  And, I hate to admit it, but I wouldn't leave the room when they turned the channel to watch weekly wrestling shows.  Instead, i would find myself glancing up and getting caught up in the action.

So, when I showed my nephew this upcoming Scooby-Doo movie, he was over the moon excited, and asked to watch it.  I didn't think he would be able to hold out until this past Friday to watch it, but he did -- mainly in part because we said he could have a few friends over for sleepover and watch it.

I wish you could have saw my living room, filled with four 8 year olds and my husband who during that time was transformed back into a child (sorry hunny), as they pretended to be their favorite WWE Superstars and get overly excited about the wrestling.  Not a fan of Scooby-Doo?  You will still love this movie for the WWE Superstars.  But, if you are a Scooby-Doo fan this inclusion of wrestling and these favorite wrestlers makes this full-length animated movie that much more enjoyable to watch.

Here is the jist of what the movie is about:

"When Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WrestleMania, they convince the entire Mystery Inc. gang to travel to WWE City in the Mystery Machine to enjoy the show. But the trip quickly turns into another mystery as WWE City is full of secrets! A mysterious ghostly bear appears and threatens to ruin the show and steal the championship title belt. With the help of WWE Superstars John Cana, Triple H, Sin Cara, Broadus Clay, AJ Lee, The Mize, Sandino Marcella and Kane, Scooby-Doo and The Mystery Inc. gang team up to solve the case before it is too late!"

Leave it to Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred to work with WWE Superstars to get to the bottom of the ghostly bear appearing at Wrestlemania and wanting to ruin the show.  Scooby-Doo and his friends will not let this happen, and they jump into action to save the day in true Scooby-Doo fashion.

Being a Scooby-Doo fan since childhood, I was just as excited as my nephew and his friends to see this movie.  I never would have pictured Scooby-Doo partnering with WWE Superstars, but you know what...it worked, and provided a fun movie experience that the whole family will enjoy.

This is definitely one movie we will be watching over and over again.  My nephew has become a movie lending library and is taking names of those who want to see it, after he and his friends returned to school today and were talking nonstop about this great must see movie.  I am guessing many of their friends will be asking their parents to either rent or buy Scooby-Doo: Wrestlemania Mystery, when it arrives on store shelves tomorrow on Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack.

And, with Easter fast approaching, this DVD would make for a great basket gift for Scooby-Doo or WWE wrestling fans, like my husband and nephew.
