It wasn't until I was a mom that I appreciated labeling things. I used to laugh at co-workers when they would label their food in the fridge, or label similar coffee cups in the break room. I thought that they should be able to keep tabs on their stuff. Little did I know that they were just savvy parents, who knew better. :-)
I can't tell you how many times we have left a playgroup or meetup without one of my daughter's sippy cups, toys or jackets. Or, we would grab another child's item thinking it was our daughter's.
