Fill Your Child's Easter Basket with Fun Gifts from eeBoo, Including Puzzles, Games, Crafts and More... (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent samples from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

As part of my recent Valentine's Day 2014 Gift Guide, I introduced you all to eeBoo, a eeBoo is a boutique toy manufacturer that specializes in useful, beautiful and well-made educational games and gifts.. I stumbled across eeBoo while looking for fun and unique gift ideas for kids.  In my post, I shared a review of their Valentine's themed paper chains, which the girls and I ended up decorating our Christmas tree with before taking it down after the holidays.

While browsing their site, I fell in love with their assortment of puzzles and games for children of all ages.  And, thanks to the kind folks at eeBoo, they sent along a fun candy matching game with the no-glue paper chains for the girls and I to review.

I couldn't get over how well made this game was.  Each matching tile was made of 90% soy-based recycled sturdy gray board, and the picture on each tile was bright and full of color...very eye appealing for children of all ages.  My girls loved this matching game, and continue to play it today.

So, when it came to thinking of fun and unique gift ideas for my Easter gift guide, I knew that I had to include eeBoo and spotlight additional products that they offer.  After reaching out to the folks at eeBoo, they sent their "Life on Earth" Simple Bingo game and "Bears on Bicycle" 20 piece jigsaw puzzle, both new items added to their spring offering.

Each playing piece features a different species illustrated by Melissa Sweet.
Be first to fill your playing board with things that live and grow, Shout “Bingo!” and you win the game with creatures that you know.
6 game boards
36 playing pieces
Red cloth bag included
Ages 5 Years and up.

My daughter, Savannah, is almost four years old, and was able to play this game.  What I liked about it, compared to other Bingo games is that is was made for little ones in mind.  Instead of having to call out things like "B1" and have them look for a letter and number and cover the spot on the card, this fun Bingo game from eeBoo uses fun animals and their surrounds on game pieces that you pull from a red cloth bag.  Players look at the species on the card and then at their game board to see if they have it. If they have that particular species, then they take the game piece and add it to their game board.  The first player to cover their game board is the win and shouts out, "Bingo".

I have lost count on how many times I have played this game with the girls. And, it has become a popular "game night" game that the girls request.  So, if your kids are fans of animals and Bingo-style games, then they will love the new "Life on Earth" Simple Bingo game from eeBoo.  Want a different style Bingo game, not worry, as eeBoo also offers the following Bingo games that will surely delight boys and girls of all ages...

I have shared on numerous occasions, how Savannah is a huge fan of jigsaw puzzles. She has a whole stack of them in her closet and in the corner of the playroom.  When she wants to play alone, or when we spend one-on-one time together, she is always pulling out a fun jigsaw puzzle to work on.  So, when she saw the cute "Bears on Bicycles" 20-piece jigsaw puzzle from eeBoo, she told me that is was piece of cake and that she could make it in not time at all.

As they started to flip over the pieces and start to put the frame together, she realized that this was a difficult puzzle.  Because of the find detail on each puzzle piece of the animals and the outdoor scene, she really had to concentrate and look at each piece to find where it went. But, this didn't stop her from completing the puzzle.  And, when she was done, she smiled before crumbling up the pieces to start again...and again! :-)

She told me that she loved this puzzle and asked if we could get more like them.  Not only was the scene cute, but she liked how sturdy the puzzle pieces were.  She didn't have to worry about Bella coming over and bending or breaking them. :-)

In addition to puzzles, board games and paper chains, you will also find a wonderful selection of flash cards, dominoes, lacing cards, juggling balls, activity books, and fun counting and spelling puzzles.  In addition, eeBoo also offers a wonderful selection of growth charts, advent calendars, decorations like floating birds, robots and fairies and fun craft supplies and kits, available for purchase through the eeBoo website, in addition to locally at select specialty toy boutiques, high-end Gift Shops as well as Museum stores, Bookstores, Art Supply stores and other non-big box venues.
