My Thoughts:
After first seeing "The Hive" Christmas episode, our family has been hooked on this cute animated series, which airs daily on Disney Junior.  Who wouldn't love to watch an animated series about a bee family.  Just look at the DVD cover art above -- don't they look so cute?!  Every time Bella watches the television series, or we put this DVD on to watch, at the end, she always turns to us and says "Good show."  What a great critic she is.  I follow up by asking why she loves this show so much and what makes it a good show.  She then says, "Cute bees and fun stories." :-)
If you haven't seen this series and have the Disney Junior Channel, I would suggest recording or tuning in to watch an episode if you have little ones.  The show does a great job at teaching important lessons like family appreciation, friendship, responsibility and so much more.  After an episode is over, I always take time to discuss what the girls just watched and what they learned.  I love hearing them describe the show, as it shows that hey are comprehending the story line and understanding the lessons that are trying to be conveyed in each 8 minute episode.
And, whenever my girls have their friends over, they always ask to watch "The Hive."  I love hearing the kids get excited as they watch such a fun show.  I guess my girls are not the only "The Hive" fans.  And, soon your little ones will be fans, too, once you pick up the above recent releases. :-)
