Over the holidays I was sent the upcoming Kidz Bop 25 to review.  And, before I got take the CD out of the bubble wrapper and turn it over to look at the track listing, the girls were eagerly awaiting for me to put the CD on to listen to.  Ever since I introduced them to this wonderful CD series for kids, they (and I) have been hooked.  Even though I was born with two left feet, it doesn't stop me from turning the radio up and having a mini dance party with the girls. :-)  How about you?  It is so great to see the girls laughing and moving around having fun.  And, now that they are getting older, they are memorizing their favorite songs, and singing along to them when they hear them on the radio or when I play one of their CD's.  Kind of scary too, as it only reminds me that they are growing up, and picking up and remembering everything we say or do -- so, I have to try especially hard to not say the few four letter words that linger on my tongue, when I stub my toe on a toy they leave out, burn dinner, etc.

While the previous Kidz Bop 24 CD has been on continuous rotation in our car, it was nice to be able to switch it up and hear some new songs.  All 16 tracks that make up Kidz Bop 25 have become instant hits with my girls.  I wish you could have saw them go crazy the first time I played the CD, and they heard Katy Perry's Roar play as the first track.  They are huge Katy Perry fans, thanks to their mom :-) and can sing this song word for word.  As they listened to the Kidz Bop version, they couldn't help but sing along.

And, as the tracks continued to play, they went crazy for Wrecking Ball (from Miley Cyrus), Wake Me Up (from Avicci) and Cups.  Now I know what you thinking...Miley Cyrus..come on?  I have to admit that while I don't like the new path Miley has chosen to go, she can sing.  Thankfully, my girls haven't seen her videos or wacky stage performances, and have only heard kid-friendly versions of her songs through CD's like this one from Kidz Bop.  You should have seen the look of horror on my husband's face over the holidays when I played this CD, and the girls started singing Wrecking Ball in the backseat.  He asked where they learned this song.  You could tell that he was seeing firsthand what I see every day...that they are growing up.

Here is the complete tracklist from the upcoming Kidz Bop 25 CD, which will be available through iTunes and at stores on January 14th --

A great selection of songs, right?  If your kids love hit music, but you want them listening to the "clean" version of the songs, sung by kids their own age, then you will love Kidz Bop and this upcoming CD release.  I like being able to listen to songs that I like without feeling embarrassed that the girls will pick up on explicit lyrics, or ask what a certain song or phrase means.  I don't have to worry with the CD's put out by Kidz Bop.  And, I am not the only one, as this popular brand is turning out their 25th volume with this release!

Why not make car rides more fun with the kids by picking up a copy of this new CD to listen and enjoy together?  Or, have an impromptu dance party on a snow day or rainy day, and make memories with your kids. :-)
