My Thoughts:

I love Todd Parr's book, including "The I'M NOT SCARED" book, "The Feelings" book and our favorite, "The I LOVE YOU" book.  Not only the illustrations colorful and fun for little ones to look at, but are easy for kids to follow along and understand.  What sets Todd Parr apart from other children's authors is that he writes his books not only to entertain preschoolers, but also as a way to help them feel better about themselves and their differences, which I love!

This book came out last month, but has already become a favorite in my house, and is usually pulled from the shelf by the girls throughout the day to flip through the pages of this board book, which have flip out pages.  Or, the girls ask me to read it to them at bedtime.  While there isn't much text to read, as this book features letters of the alphabet and animals that  start with each, it is a great book to share with little ones learning the alphabet and letter recognition.  Savannah already knows her ABCs, but is starting to recognize the different letters in books, on television, etc.  So, this book has really come in handy when we sit down to work on letter recognition.  She even loves tracing the letters with her fingers - and, now Bella is following suit.  Oh, and  did I mention that all the animals in this book are in their underwear?  :-)  Each and every time the girls see this book, they can't help but giggle and point to the underwear.  Savannah keeps telling the illustrations that they forgot their pants. :-)

Overall, this is another wonderful book from Todd Parr, and I expect another best seller.  So, if you love this author, or are looking for a fun board book to share with their your little one, that will help teach them their ABCs, this is one book to check out.
