The Everyday with Rachel Ray Magazine is back at it again by hosting their ever popular "Aisle to Isle Sweepstakes."  Last year, I had my parents and friends all entering, along with my husband and myself, in hopes to win the grand prize ---- A trip for 2 for 7 nights at RIU Palace Punta Cana hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic courtesy of FunJet Vacations, including round trip air transportation and round trip ground transportation between the airport and hotel.

"Located in Playa de Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the Hotel Riu Palace Punta Cana (24h All Inclusive) offers its guests 5 star service, comfort and quality. A luxurious hotel surrounded by the Caribbean exuberance.

It’s difficult to get away and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, which is why at this Palace you’ll find the best options for a complete rest during your holiday. It includes a fresh water swimming pool, a gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and the “Eternal Spa” wellness centre with a range of different treatments and massages. As it is within easy reach of the sea, you’ll be able to enjoy a vast beach with crystal clear water and white sand where you can swim as you cool down with a cocktail from the bar.

The cuisine of the Dominican Republic offers a wide variety of dishes, with flavours and colours as dominant features on its plates. Dominican cuisine has received influences from African and Spanish cooking, and includes a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that enrich each dish with a unique flavour. In the buffet restaurant and themed restaurants you can taste the best recipes prepared by our chefs to satisfy any palate."

Unfortunately, none of us won, but it was great to dream about this amazing location, which we had never been to.  But, if these pictures don't get you excited about the chance to win a dream vacation to the RIU Palace Punta Cana hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, I don't know what will:

Ah, to be able to shed the winter clothes and walk about the beaches, watching the waves crash against the shore -- this would be heaven! :-)  Since welcoming the girls, my husband have yet to get away for a vacation.  And, with them going through their terrible two's, I wouldn't dare try to take them on a plan or drive long distances for vacation.  But, hopefully, in a few years when they get older, Nana and Papa will take them on vacation to their summer home in NH, and my husband and I can jet off to an amazing and romantic destination like the Dominican Republic, to enjoy relaxing by the beach, amazing cuisine, snorkeling and so much more.

But, in the meantime, that is not stopping you from entering this Dream Vacation of a Lifetime...and the best part of entering is that you don't have to buy anything to enter. :-)  But, you probably already purchase P&G products for your family, which you can save the receipt and UPC and upload to your entry form.
