Christmas Lights Like You Have Never Seen Them Before -- In 3D w/ Holiday Specs (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent samples from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views shared are mine and mine alone.

Have you ever gone shopping, especially during the holiday season, and stumbled upon a fun novelty item that makes you say, "Wow?"  Well, I have a great holiday-themed must have for 2013 -- Holiday Specs.  I stumbled across these magic 3D glasses a few weeks ago while at Lowe's with the girls.  Every weekend, the girls ask to go to Lowes to walk through the Christmas displays.  They always stop at the inflatables and then the Christmas lights.  It is nice to see them get so excited about the holidays.  But, this year, when we go driving around the neighborhood to see the Christmas lights and displays around town, we will be taking our Holiday Specs Christmas 3D glasses with us.  Why do I like these glasses so much?  Simple.  They transform ordinary Christmas lights into fun holiday images.

Currently, Holiday Specs offers 10 designs that both kids and adults will enjoy including:

Mixed Bundle

Snowflake
Round Ball Ornament
Gingerbread man
Candy Cane
Angel
Santa
Snowman
Santa's Elf
Rudolph
Christmas Star

After seeing them in the store, I reached out to the vendor who graciously sent along each of the Holiday Specs 3D glasses, as well as two pairs of plastic 3D glasses with a handle.

As soon as the girls put on the 3D glasses and looked at the Christmas lights I strung in the window, they couldn't stop yelling with excitement.  Savannah was amazed at how she could see Santa and a Snowman, when switching up the two pairs of Holiday Specs I gave her.  It was fun to see her quickly take on and off the 3D glasses, as she wondered how the ordinary lights were magically turning into these fun holiday images.

Along with Arabella, they kept going over to the lights, trying to touch the images that they saw.  For over an hour, they had a blast, along with my husband and I trying out the 10 different Holiday Specs.  And, when my parents came this past weekend to celebrate Arabella's 2nd birthday, the girls were quick to show Nana and Papa their magical Christmas lights.  My parents were amazed at the 3D Christmas experience, thanks to the Holiday Specs 3D glasses.

Holiday Specs 3D glasses are great for stocking stuffers, to include in Christmas cards to family and friends, included as party favors for upcoming holiday parties and even given to teachers and your child's friends.  There are endless ways to share this 3D Christmas experience with family and friends.  And, once they put on a pair of Holiday Specs, they will be saying "Wow," like my family did.  And, at around $2.00 each (Lowes is selling them for $1.75) you can't go wrong for this affordable holiday fun.  Once you try them out, you will want to pick up all 10 holiday designs, and will be eager to show family and friends who stop by to visit this holiday season, as this is one 3D lights display not to be missed.

So, while out and about getting gifts for those on your holiday shopping list, make a point to look for Holiday Specs Christmas 3D glasses, and give them a try.  Then, get ready for a magical Christmas in 3D.
