"It’s party time! The TWISTER DANCE RAVE game brings the fun with today’s hottest music, great speakers and LED lights that shine to create your very own dance floor. Girls will love learning dances and showing off their moves to songs from popular artists, or they can plug their own mp3 players into the console, turning virtually any song into a dance song! The party never ends as players continue to learn new dances by following the lights and moving to the beat on the iconic TWISTER spots in head-to-head or freestyle play. (Requires 4 AA batteries – demo batteries included)."

My Thoughts:

Who says adults don't know how to have fun?  This past weekend, we had a group of friends over for dinner, while the girls were visiting my parents.  Usually after dinner, we either watch a movie, sit by the fire pit, or play games.  After one of my guests saw Twister Dance Rave on the table, they asked my thoughts on it.  I told them I hadn't had a chance to play it yet, but it looked like a fun game.  A few minutes later, everyone around the game table were raising their hands that they wanted to play this game.

This new spin on the popular Twister game can be played solo or with 2 players.  Average game time is about 10 minutes.  We drew names out of a hat to have a dance off against and then the fun really began.  While we are all in our 30's and early 40's, we found that we weren't as flexible as we used to be.  Thankfully, this game didn't have us down on all fours, as I don't think many of us would be able to get back up. :-)

The set up this game was easy, as you have have to position 8 movable spots (4 for each player), and set up the dance console unit.  In addition to a few hit songs loaded onto the Twister Dance Rave dance console, you can also attach you ipPod or mp3 player, and dance to any of the songs on your play list.  We started off with the songs loaded on the Dance Console, but ended up attaching my mp3 player for an 80's dance off.

Overall, we had a blast playing this new game, and could see this played by both children ages 8+ and their parents during family game night.  Or, if your kids like having sleepovers, this would be a great game for them to play with their friends.  Or, wait until the kids are visiting their grandparents or at a friend's house, and invite a few friends over for some flashback dance fun! :-)  Have fun dancing!
