My Thoughts:

I was so excited a few months ago when I was chosen to be a VIP Tic Tocketeer, as both my girls are crazy about the fun animated series for kids on Nick Jr. called Tickety Toc.  And, with the recent launch of the Tickety Toc toy line at Toys "R" Us, my girls are loving this show even more.  The other day, I made my girls' day when I downloaded the new Tickety Toc Bubble Time app from Cupcake Digital onto our iPad.  I forget to tell them I downloaded, as I did it while they were napping.  But, when they went to take the iPad to play one of their storybook games, they noticed the Tickety Toc app logo, and started jumping up and down with excitement.  Then, it dawned up me that they saw the new app.  And, for the next few hours, the girls sat playing together (which doesn't happen that often nowadays without fighting), to enjoy this new Tickety Toc app.

Savannah's favorite feature of the game was the memory match game, where you have to tap on and pop bubbles to complete words and match Tick Tocktastic pictures.  There were a few occasions that Savannah was having trouble remembering where the matches were, and Arabella was quick to point them out.  That is teamwork! :-)  Arabella's favorite feature of the new Tickety Toc Bubble Time app was the coloring portion, where she could paint, use chalk and even add fun stickers to dress up scenes from the story.

As a parent, I love seeing new apps like this, that are not only fun for the kids to play, but are also educational.   The bubble popping feature is helping the girls learn new words, spelling and letter recognition, while the coloring page, although fun, teaches about creativity and colors identification.  While we have only had this app for a few days, it has become another favorite of the girls, as they continue to ask to play with it.  I can't say "No," as this is one time they sit together and play nicely, while also helping each other out.  They love having the Tickety Toc story read to them, and then working together to find matches for the memory game.

If you have a Tickety Toc fan in your house, this is one app worth checking out.  And, at only $2.99, you can't go wrong for the price.
