The Girls Enjoyed Their Crayola "Get Out and Create" Gift Pack....And, Yours Will, Too! -- Review and #Giveaway

Disclosure: The Crayola product, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by Crayola.  However, all views shared are mine and mine alone.

Crayola doesn't just sell boxes of crayons anymore!  It wasn't until I became an aunt years ago and started holiday shopping for my nieces and nephews that I learned about all the wonderful products that Crayola has to offer parents and their children.  They have definitely come a long way since my childhood, when we would get excited about a new crayon color being introduced to the yellow crayon box. :-)  Nowadays, you can shop online or in stores and find washable sidewalk chalk, Color Wonder Mess-Free kits and so much more from Crayola.

Thanks to the kind folks at Crayola, as they recently sent me a fun Crayola "Get Out and Create" gift pack, which included to help kick-start my daughters' creative juices, by encouraging messy fun with easy clean-up:

24 ct. Sidewalk ChalkColor Wonder® Glitter Paper - Disney Princess Color Wonder Mini Stow & Go

(1) Pack of Washable Sidewalk Chalk
(1) Disney Princess Themed Color Wonder Mess-Free Glitter Paper and Markers
(1) Color Wonder Mini Stow and Go

While I have bough Color Wonder products for my nieces and nephews, I never thought to buy them for Savannah.  Because Arabella likes to be included in coloring and arts and crafts projects, I have made a point to keep items like markers out of site, as not to have welcome a hard to clean up mess.  I learned the hard way of introducing markers too early with my girls, when Savannah decided to do Arabella's makeup at age 1 1/2 yr. old using markers.  It may have been funny for a second, but cleanup was painstakingly hard, and left Arabella with a rash due to the marker ingredients - not fun!.

But, when I saw how much fun Savannah was having with the Disney Princess Color Wonder Mess-Free Glitter Paper and Markers, and how there was no messy markers marks to clean up or scrub off the table or floor, I wished I had picked up these Crayola products sooner.  Even Arabella got in on the full, and sat alongside Savannah, as they make pictures come alive by using the Color Wonder Mess-Free markers.  While they look clear at the tip, and don't leave marks on skin or household furniture, or carpets, once they touch the magic Color Wonder paper, vibrant Crayola colors instantly appear. :-)  Both my daughters were amazed at this, as they didn't see the colors that appeared on the Color Wonder sheets on the tip of the Mess-Free markers.  Savannah kept saying, "Ohhh,  magic!!!"

I especially loved the Crayola Color Wonder Mini Stow and Go pack, as it offers a portable writing surface and storage for your child's creations and markers.  Each pack includes a 15-page mini Color Wonder Coloring Pad, along with 3 Color Wonder Markers.  Savannah ended up taking this Stow and Go pack to the doctors the other day, and kept her busy while we waited to see the doctor.  She was so excited with each and every masterpiece she created.  And, she couldn't wait to get home to show them off to Daddy, and have me display on the refrigerator.

If you were to stop by my house right now, you would walk into the kitchen and see the refrigerator and bay window covered with the girls' Crayola Color Wonder masterpieces.  When they were done with each of the Disney princess glitter pages, they couldn't wait to hand them off to me, so that I could hang and display them.  You should have seen Savannah's face when she went to reach for another glitter page, only to find that she and Arabella had used them all up.   My husband ended up going out and picking up a few more Crayola Color Wonder kits for the girls.  They sure did come in handy this past week, while the girls and I were laid up with a nasty cold going around.  When they weren't laying on the couch, they would sit at the dining room table and great Color Wonder masterpieces. :-)

It wasn't until this past weekend that the girls were finally able to go outside and get some fresh air.  Savannah has been itching to use the Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk, that was included in our Crayola "Get Out and Create" gift pack.  What caught both Savannah and my eye was the fun, unique eye catching colors that make up this 24-pack washable sidewalk chalk box.  Such colors included macaroni and cheese, granny smith apple, purple mountain Majesty, violet red, sepia, timberwolf and even salmon.  The girls took to the driveway and doodled to their hearts content.  They covered the driveway with their squiggles, boxes, circles and other fun shapes.  Savannah and her Daddy even had fun making a chalk lined trail for the girls to follow with their ride on toys, as thick chalk comes in a new anti-roll shape preventing the chalk from rolling away. And, the wide sides allow kids to draw thick lines.  Unlike other sidewalk chalk we have bought for the girls in the past, this chalk washed away effortlessly with the garden hose.  We didn't have to hope for consecutive days of rain to wash away sidewalk art, like we did with past chalk.  Crayola washable sidewalk chalk is a win win for both parent and child, in that it is fun to use and get creative with, and cleanup is a breeze.  You got to love this convenience!

I can't wait to pick up more fun Crayola products for my girls and nieces and nephews, especially for this upcoming holiday season.  Crayola was a favorite brand of my parents, and still remains a favorite brand for me, now that I have children of my own.
