As you read through the synopsis' of each DVD, you probably said that you and your child have already seen these episodes.  And, you are probably right, as the episodes included on each of these upcoming PBS Kids DVD's has aired on television.  If your family is like mine, then you probably could watch these popular episodes over and over again, and not get bored! Well, that is what we will be doing this upcoming weekend as we hit the road and travel to NH -- over 3 hours from our house in CT, to visit and stay with Nana and Papa at their summer home.  Savannah has been looking forward to this vacation for quite some time now, so we can't wait to go.

While we are all excited about this much needed vacation, my husband and I are not looking forward to the "Are we there yet?" comments, or the girls acting up as they grow tired and bored sitting in their car seats for a long period of time.  We ended up putting in dual DVD players to keep the girls' entertained during long car rides, but have since run into the issue of one wanting to watch one thing, while the other wants something else.  I would never have expected this from a soon to be 3 yr. old and a 19 month old.  But, this is what we get when we travel with them.

But, when we hit the road and take on the 3 hr. trip from CT to NH, we will be ready to keep the girls entertained, as I was sent a review of each of the DVDs shared above.  Like you, we have already watched all the episodes included on these upcoming DVD releases, but will enjoy seeing them again.  And, I will not have to worry about the girls fighting over who gets to watch what, as they both like Super Why!, Arthur, Dinosaur Train and Caillou.  Out of the four shows, their favorite is Caillou.  This was the first show Savannah ever watched, and the one she called her favorite for so long. :-)

Don't worry, as I will not bore you with a review of each and every episode that make up these four upcoming DVD releases.  What I will say, however, is that these affordable DVDs (most are only $9.99) will definitely keep your child entertained this summer in the car, or even at home on a rainy day.  We can't wait to put on Caillou this evening when we head out to start our vacation.

Please be safe over the 4th of July holiday, and enjoy time with family and friends!
