I write up so many posts about Savannah helping me try out products, but I am excited to share my thoughts on the Nuby Sure Grip Bowl, as I requested this sample especially for Arabella to try out. While Arabella is rushing to catch up to Savannah in everything she does -- even though there is a 15 month age difference -- when it comes to snacking or feeding from a bowl, more times than not the food or snacks wind up on the floor due to the bowls or plates slipping off the table or shifting on the high chair table. I have been searching a bowl or plate that I could place in front of Arabella, that would stay in place, and not shift around. We have so many feeding plates and bowls, you would think I was a day care! :-) Some have so-called rubber bottoms to prevent slipping -- but, don't work for beans. Others are too glommy, making them hard for Arabella's small hands to grasp and hold in place.
After seeing the Nuby Sure Grip Bowl on the Nuby website, I wondered if this bowl was what I had been searching it. And, after receiving a sample to try out, I can finally say with a smile, that my search for the perfect stay put bowl is over, thanks to Nuby.
"The Nuby Sure Grip Bowl is made of tough break resistant polypropylene and is engineered to fit either the left or right hand. The ergonomic design allows the bowl to be held in a comfortable and more natural feeding position, without the worry of spilling contents of the bowl. As with any feeding method, you will find your most comfortable position. This bowl is conveniently sized, just right for dry cereal and other baby foods."
While this bowl is great for moms to hold, when feeding beginner eaters, it also is great for toddlers who need a little extra help in keeping their snack bowl or feeding bowls on the table. Both parents and adults will love the vibrant colors that the Nuby Sure Grip Bowl comes in. And, at around $ , you can't go wrong for the price. Don't be fooled by other vendors selling stay put bowls. Like I said, I have tried most of the ones on the market, and have been disappointed with the results, and $$ I had spent on them.
The Nuby Sure Grip Bowl is making Arabella feel more confident when I hand her this bowl with her snacks, or serve up her soup or cereal in at the dining room table. Once on the table, this bowl stays in place, letting Arabella practice feeding herself with her spoon or fork. As a mom, I love not having to sit right next to my daughter, holding her bowl, so it doesn't go anywhere, including the floor.
The Nuby Sure Grip Bowl is available at www.BuyBabyDirect.com, as well as at www.Amazon.com for only $3.99.
Disclosure: I was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest review. The views shared are mine and mine alone.
