I have been meaning to share this post with you since last Friday, but after all the craziness that has been going on in Boston (where I am originally from and have family in the areas where the terrorists were), it has been hard to concentrate and write up thoughtful posts.  I have had this post scribbled on a napkin for a few days now, but am finally finding a few free moments to type it up and share, as Savannah has been sick the past few days with tummy troubles -- leaving me up most days and nights with her. :-(  As you may know from past Nuby reviews I shared last month, I was recently chosen as a Nuby Mommy Blogger.  Not only do I get to work with a great brand that has been tried and tested in our home, but I get to share my thoughts of a variety of their products with you, and include on occasion fun giveaways (scroll down to win this item I am reviewing).

A couple of weeks ago, I shared a handful of reviews from my recent Nuby Mommy Blogger sampler box, which I am sent every month to review.  Every time I see this box, I feel like a kid in a candy store, as I know that there are amazing products insides for the girls to use.  From pacifiers, cups and bottles, to feeding supplies and toys, Nuby offers a wonderful assortment of products for newborns through the toddler years.  This works out great as I can have both my daughters help me review these products.

Out of the five Nuby products I was sent this past month, I have to say that girls' favorite was the Nuby iMonster Snack Keeper, followed by the Nuby Soft Tip Sound Bite spoons.  I was surprised at this, as they have so many snack cups to choose from.  But, what set this snack cup apart from others is that it has a deeper snack bowl, to accommodate large and small snacks.  And, what child doesn't like brightly colored objects?  With the iMonster Snack Keeper, your child can easily put their hand through the soft silicone flaps that make up the monster's mouth.  The soft silicone flaps were another plus in my eyes, as we have a couple snack cups that the flap to keep the snacks in place is much hard to push through, or ends up leaving scratches on the girls' fists as they pull their favorite snack out.  My youngest daughter's favorite feature of this snack cup was how easy it was to hold the snack cup with both hands or just one.  The monster's hands act as the handles, which give a better grip for the younger snackers.  This was the first cup she didn't drop on the floor when I would hand it to her, as she could finally get a good grip. :-)

I like to put all baby/toddler products to the test, and didn't hold back with this one.  I really wanted to see how well this snack keeper really kept the snacks inside the cup.  So, I started off with large puffs and cookies -- gave it a good shake -- and low and behold, the snacks stayed put. :-)  I ended my experiment with fruit snacks and yogurt drops, which always seemed to fall out of the other snack cups we have.  You will be happy to hear that they, too, stayed in the cup! :-)

Now, whenever we are getting ready to head out for errands, I make sure to fill the girls' Nuby iMonster Snack Keeper cups (I ended up buying another one so each of them could have their own), as I know I will not have to worry about the snacks falling out the cup while the car is in motion.  I love not having to spend time after a day out with the girls having to pick up dropped Cheerios or Goldfish from the backseat. :-)

So, if you are not satisfied with your child's current snack cup, why not check out the Nuby iMonster Snack Keeper today?  After having tried out this snack cup, I was able to throw out all of our other cups, freeing up much needed space on the counter and in the cabinets. :-)
