The Good Humor REESE’s Peanut Butter Ice Cream Eggs and Mounds Ice Cream Eggs are limited-edition egg-shaped ice cream treats created from your favorite classic candy brands and perfect for any Easter basket, party, dessert story. Each multi-pack is available at grocery stores nationwide for a suggest retail price between $4.39 and $4.49.

REESE’S® Peanut Butter Ice Cream Eggs --  These bars feature peanut butter ice cream with a REESE’S® peanut butter swirl dipped in a milk chocolate flavored coating in an egg shape.

Mounds® Ice Cream Eggs --  These bars feature coconut flavored light ice cream with coconut dipped in a dark chocolate flavored coating in an egg shape."

When asked to review these limited edition egg-shaped ice cream varieties, how could I say, "No?"  You know that I love chocolate, and have a weakness for sweet treats like ice cream, so I jumped at the opportunity to review a box.  I ended up picking up the REESE’S® Peanut Butter Ice Cream Eggs to try with my family, as we all love REESE's famous peanut butter cups. :-)  The girls got a kick out of seeing the egg-shaped ice cream, and didn't want to eat it at first.  Savannah held it in her hand as my husband and I took a bite, and said, "No, no, no, Mommy and Daddy -- Don't eat the baby egg." But, then the chocolate outside began to melt in her hand.  She licked it clean, only to exclaim, "Mmm, tastes good."  And, then, seconds later, she began nibbling away at the REESE’S® Peanut Butter Ice Cream Egg.  Then, it was a contest to see who could finish their REESE’S® Peanut Butter Ice Cream Eggs first, with Arabella beating out Savannah, as she kept stopping to tell me and Daddy how good it was and to lick her lips.

If you are a fan of REESE's peanut butter cups and peanut butter ice cream, then you will love this new egg-shaped treat from Good Humor.  The only downside is that only six come in a box, so you will have to buy a couple of boxes (before they are no longer available) to satisfy your sweet tooth. :-)  I had only bought one box today to try them out, but will be heading back to the store the end of this week to buy more, and to try out the Mounds flavored egg-shaped ice cream version.  I also plan to buy enough to offer as a dessert option for our Easter dinner.  Who can resist ice cream?  And, once everyone sees these cute egg-shaped ice cream varieties, they will want one (or two...) :-)
