Finding Relief from Dull, Cracked Skin Thanks to Carmex (Review and #Giveaway)

Carmex

"At Carmex, we know that cold winter weather can wreak havoc on your skin-and trust us, it gets awfully dry here in Franklin, WI! Just like our #1 pharmacist-recommended lip balms, Carmex skin care products are loaded with healing ingredients to deliver deep hydration and serious moisturizing power. Our unique formula is sure to repair your driest, roughest skin, even in the most extreme conditions."

Carmex Healing Cream

I was recently sent full-sized tubes of  Carmex Healing Cream and one full-sized tube of Carmex Hydrating Lotion, to try out, and was so glad to see it when I got the mail the other day, as my skin has really taken a beaten this winter.  I think on top of washing bottles in the sink, and then scrubbing clothes to remove food and other stains from the girl's clothes, that my hands are put through the ringer daily.  Then, when I head out to run errands, or merely grab the mail or take the dog out, the elements only make my hands dry and crack more.

Even though I use daily moisturizing lotions daily for my face and body, I can't seem to get that baby-soft feel that I used to get when using these products.  So, I have spent the better part of the winter trying to find a skin-care product that was not only gentle enough for my sensitive skin, but that would also help bring relief to my dry, crackled skin.  Already a fan of Carmex's lip balms, I couldn't wait to see how their healing cream and hydrating lotion would work on my skin.

I first started off by using the Carmex Healing Cream as it is supposed to offer maximum healing, as it contains petroleum and allantoin, to help not only soften skin, but also aid in moisturization of your skin.  After just two days of use, I could see a huge difference in how my skin felt and looked.  Gone were the dry, cracked hands I would always stare at daily, and slowly the skin was feeling softer and more moisturized.

I then switched to the Carmex Hydrating Lotion, as this lotion can be used daily to aid in maintaining hydration to your skin, without leaving it greasy looking or feeling.  Wow, I couldn't get over how well this hydrating lotion worked, and how great it smelled, as it contained vitamin E and aloe vera.  This is definitely one hydrating lotion I will have on hand for all seasons, as I also find my skin taking a beaten once the hot, hot weather sets in.

Overall, I am so happy I had a chance to try out these two healing and hydration skin care products from Carmex, and will continue to stock up on these when I replenish my Carmex lip balm supply.  I am thrilled that I have my skin finally looking and feeling great, and will not be spending along winter day with dry, irritated cracked skin, thanks to Carmex.
