Feature Friday -- FootPals, Fun, Imaginative Shoes for Children (Review and #Giveaway)

This past Tuesday, I shared a Spotlight on Dad post with Patrick Driscoll of FootPals with you.  If you missed my interview with Patrick, click here to read it now -- http://www.inspiredbysavannah.com/2013/03/spotlight-on-dad-patrick-driscoll-of.html.  Today, I wanted to share more about FootPals' line of playful and imaginative footwear, as well as offer one lucky reader a chance to win a pair of FootPals for their little one.

Like I said on Tuesday, I was recently sent a pair of Bunny shoes for Savannah and matching Bunny boots for Arabella, to try out.  As soon as the girls saw me take the shoes out of the box, they both quickly took off the shoes they were wearing at the moment and ran over to ask me to put on these new FootPals bunny shoes.  Their eyes lit up, and a huge smile came across their faces, as I slipped on the shoes.  Unlike other shoes I have purchased for the girls, I love how easy to put on and take off these shoes were.  Savannah's shoes had a Velcro closure, while Arabella's boots had a zip-up closure.  I chose the boot for Arabella as she loves to take off her shoes once I put them on.  I can't tell you how many times I have had to re-trace my steps and return to a store or park, just to track down a missing shoe.  So, whenever I buy shoes for her, I opt for zipper shoes, as she can't play Houdini and get out of them. :-)

In addition to the shoes being sent for review, Patrick also sent along their brand new inserts, which are part of their new footbed design for their children's shoes and boots sized 6-12. "The new inserts arrive alongside the originals, and boast more cushioning for early developers, are supportive for those on the go, and are comfortable with every step. They also feature better arch support for healthy foot growth and anatomically correct shaping. Let your child choose what is most comfortable - and fun for them!"

And, if the new inserts addition wasn't enough, FootPals also announced recently that all their shoes would be sold for only $34.95 each.  Wow!  If you have little ones, then you know how crazy footwear prices are for infant-young children's sizes especially.  And, with two little girls, I find myself spending on average $40+ for new shoes, every couple of months, as their feet seem to grow overnight. :-)  Because of their feet growing quickly, I wasn't sure which size to go with, but after consulting FootPals's online size chart, I felt comfortable ordering shoes that when they arrived, actually fit the girls, and provided for a comfortable walking shoe.

Even though we have only had these cute Bunny shoes from FootPals for a couple of weeks, the girls don't want to take them off, and go everywhere with them.  Just this past weekend, I took the girls to their Saturday AM music class, and they were the talk of the class.  All of the moms loved the shoes, and the other kids couldn't help but touch the cotton ball tails of the bunnies, and then ask their moms for a pair.  When I told the moms that they only cost $34.95, they, too, were shocked, yet happy to finally find an affordable pair of shoes, that were not only fun for the kids to wear, but were durable and comfortable to wear.

Here are just a few photos of Savannah showing off her new Bunny FootPals shoes, while honing her Easter Egg hunting skills. :-)

And, with Easter just a couple of weeks away, and Easter Egg Hunts starting this weekend, I can't wait to snap more photos of the girls, as they are dressed in their Easter dresses, or running in the fields, gathering up Easter eggs.  I definitely expect more parents and grandparents to stop me and ask where I got these cute bunny shoes for them.  When they do, I will not hesitate to share more about this family run business, and how they offer other comfortable walking shoes in  styles like  monkeys, gators, koalas, and pandas, which are offered in a variety of colors for both boys and girls sized 6-12, as shown here:

You can't tell me these children's shoes are not cute.  And, once you see the exceptional quality of these shoes up close, including intricate stitching, dimensional eyes, and durable, lightweight and flexible soles, you will not want to buy another shoe brand. :-)
