Are your children fans of the popular animated series, Wild Kratts, which airs daily on PBS Kids? My girls can't get enough of the Kratt brothers, and love learning about animals of the wild. So, when I was sent a screener copy of this upcoming DVD release, you can only imagine how excited they were. Arabella even skipped her afternoon nap just to watch this DVD, which includes two episodes -- Rainforest Stew and Shadow: The Black Jaguar.

"Shadow Of The Black Jaguar"
"The Wild Kratts team found a distress call in South America to find out that Zach is taking a rare black jaguar in his scheme and use him that could ruin the jaguar habitat. The Kratt brothers need to use the jaguar information to get back the black jaguar from Zach.
"Rainforest Stew"
"The Wild Kratts learn about the sloth and sloth moth habitat in the South American rainforest. Gourmand is creating a rainforest stew that disturbs the rainforest ecosystem. The Kratt brothers need to stop him from completing his rainforest stew."

Both episodes were thoroughly enjoyable, and introduced the girls to such animals as the black Jaguar, and taught them how they use their environment to live and survive. If you are familiar with the series, then you know that the Kratt brothers have new outfits made to help in rescuing animals of the wild when they are in danger. This is the favorite part of the show for Savannah, as she likes seeing the new Creature Power suits put to use.
Even though we only received this DVD yesterday, we have already watched it a handful of times so far. Savannah loves to sit and recite her favorite scenes, and explain the show to her Daddy. I can see more daily viewing of this and other PBS Kids DVDs we own, as they are not only fun to watch, but also educational. So, if you have Wild Kratts fans in your house, why not consider picking up this upcoming release, as it is only $6.99. :-)
