My Thoughts:

Do you have any guilty pleasure shows that you look forward to each week?  In the past, I used to love watching Sex in the City and even Gossip Girl.  But, since these and a few of my other favorite shows are no longer on the air, I had to find another guilty pleasure.  And, that is when I stumbled upon The Client List, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt.  I had heard about this new show when it first started airing, but never tuned in, until the end of Season 1, when I happened to be flicking through the channels late one night and caught the tale end of the show.  From that point on, I was hooked, and began setting the DVR to record each episode (new and old), so that I could watch late at night, after the girls and my hubby had gone to bed, and all the chores were done.  I loved being able to pour myself a glass of wine, or make a cup of tea, and kick back and finally put my feet up, as I watched The Client List.

Now if you haven't seen or heard about this show,  here is a little synopsis of it --  Like I said, this hit television series stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, who plays a Riley, a Texas housewife, who is left my her husband, to find a way to support her children financially.  She ends up getting a job at a local spa, only to learn that besides the general spa services, they also cater to the male clientele by offering "Special services."  You know what I am talking about. :-)  Jennifer nails her role as Riley, and with a body like hers, you can't help but wish you had her figure.  Each episode follows Riley as she struggles to keep her two lives -- that of her job at the spa and her role as single mom separate.  She cannot have those around her find out about what she is doing at the spa, as she could land herself in jail and have her children taken away.

What would you do if you were presented with a job like Riley's, where you could make fast, easy money, so to speak?  Would you take it, and if so, could you separate both worlds.  I know that I would not be comfortable enough to offer up these services to strange men, even if it meant paying the bills and keeping a roof over my girls' head.  But, just seeing someone like Riley live this double life, is intriguing and makes you want to tune in each week to see what happens next and how she deals with her life.

Even though I had caught up on the complete first season, it was nice to finally see all ten episodes in order (including a guest appearance by Betty White is episode 10), as well as the deleted scenes and outtakes that make up this 3-DVD set, arriving in stores tomorrow.  I can't wait for the new season of "The Client List" to start on March 10th, and see what it has in store for Riley.  If Season 2 is anything like Season 1, fans will be in for a treat, as new fans will get hooked once they stumble upon this drama, which airs on the Lifetime Channel.  So, if you haven't had a chance to see this popular show, that both men and women are staying up late to watch, then you have to  tune in and watch it, or at least set your DVR to record it, to watch when the kids are in bed -- when Season 2 of "The Client List" begins on March 10th at 10/9C on the Lifetime Channel.Who knows, maybe it will become your guilty pleasure, too?
