18 Rabbits Offers Up a Kid-Friendly Line of Granola Bars Kids Will Love -- Bunny Bars (Review)

I recently stumbled across 18 Rabbits Granola and Bars, and fell in love with their product line.  If you follow my blog, then you know how I am always looking for great tasting snacks, that are also healthy.  And, being a busy mom, I love granola bars and other snack bars that can be eaten on the go, thrown into a diaper bag or brought in the car, for on-the-go snacking anytime/anywhere.  So, when I found the 18 Rabbits website, I couldn't help but reach out to them and see about reviewing their line of Bunny Bars, made especially for children, to try with my daughters.  They sent me a sampling of their flavors, and what a great time my girls had in helping me review the four 18 Rabbits Bunny Bars.

Here is more about each flavor:

Felicitas Granola Bing Cherries Apricots
"The spunky combination of plump cherries, tart apricots and nutty sunflower seeds in our Deedee bar means that energy and antioxidants are in no short supply. With our Felicitas Granola as a base, the tangy fruits mingle with nutritious chia, sesame and pumpkin seeds for some healthy fat, protein and fiber. A perfect snack, anytime of day!"

Felicitas Granola Chocolate Bing Cherries
"With smooth chocolate chips and a generous serving of chewy cherries, Squeaky is the smaller version of our Cheeky Cherry Chocolate bar. Plentiful seeds like pumpkin, chia, and sunflower from our Felicitas Granola add tasty texture instead of nuts. For an indulgent taste without the consequences, Squeaky is the snack that will love you right back."

Felicitas Granola Bananas Chocolate
"With hearty chunks of banana, a sprinkling of chia seeds and bits of organic chocolate, Rocco will fuel you through any adventure. Our Felicitas Granola brings fiber and protein from pumpkin, sesame and sunflower seeds, and with a taste matching the frozen chocolate bananas of summertime dessert, treating your body kindly has never felt so good. "

Felicitas Granola Mango Strawberries
"Jammy strawberries and tropical, tangy mangos make Mimi a fruity treat for the taste buds. Sunflower seeds add a nutty flavor, but the nuts in this bar are hardly missed. It's an updated version of your favorite PB & J, and with chia seeds, sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds from our Felicitas Granola, it's a snack your body will thank you for. "

I wasn't sure how my daughters would react to these granola bars at first, as they usually don't care for them.  But, when they saw the playful wrappers, they wondered what was inside, and how it tasted.  So, I took the four different flavored granola bars sent to me for review and cut them up into bite size pieces.  Then, we sat around their table and did a taste test.  I would tell them what was in each bar -- and, usually before I could get the last ingredient out of my mouth, they would both snatch up a piece and pop in their mouths.  And, in unison, they would say, "Mmm."  It was so cute to watch them act as taste tasters, and point to their favorite Bunny Bar.

While they seemed to like each flavor, I noticed Savannah reached for more pieces for the choc banana one, while Arabella was a fan of the cherry apricot granola bar.  I, however, couldn't decide between the four, as they each had their own unique taste, which made you want more.

I am so happy to have found another healthy snack that they girls enjoy and that I can have on hand in the house and bring along for on-the-go snacking.  Once you try these kid-friendly granola bars with fun flavor pairings, you will choose to grab a box of these over serving your child cookies and other sugary snacks.  Your child will think you are serving them up a sweet treat, while you will know otherwise. :-)
