Merry Christmas from the Street

Merry Christmas Sesame Street Shirt

If you grew up in the 80's, then you must have owned at least one pop culture shirt.  I remember I had a few which included Dirty Dancing and Michael Jackson's Bad album.  So, when I recently stumbled across the online store, 80sTees, I fell in love with their selection. As I browsed through the music, movie and television show categories (to name a few), I began reminiscing about childhood memories that involved some of my favorite shows and musicians.  I could have spent the entire day looking through all their reasonably priced t-shirts for men, women and children, and then breaking the bank buying up half the store :-)

But, after reaching out to the folks at 80sTees.com, they sent me the above Sesame Street themed t-shirt for my husband to try out.  He loved the vintage feel and look of the shirt and design, and said the t-shirt material, which is 100% was soft and wore well.  Because of the distressed look of the t-shirt, he said it was hard to read the words from a distance, and had people come up close to see what the shirt said.  A few other people who took a close look at the shirt noticed that Elmo was not included with the Sesame Street gang and wondered why?  I know that if Elmo was present Savannah would have went crazy when she saw Daddy wearing it for the first time.  She did, however, like seeing Cookie Monster and Big Bird, two of her other Sesame Street favorites.

So, if you want to re-live some great moments from the 80's, or know someone who wishes they could go back to this fun era, then why pick up a few t-shirts from 80sTees for the holidays?  The hard part will be deciding on a design, as there are so many good ones there, and the price is right!

Disclosure: I was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
