Whole Fruit Smoothies Offers Up a Delicious Frozen Treat at Only 100 Calories (Review)

Even though summer is over doesn't mean I still don't stop up on frozen treats for the family.  I notice that I tend to buy more ice cream and sorbets in the winter months than other times of the year -- go figure! :-)  Maybe it is because when we eat them, we tend to feel like it is much warming outside than it really is.... or, they make your throat feel better when you have a cold.  Either way, I was excited to try a sampling of Whole Fruit® Smoothies, and stock my freezer full of this delicious tasting frozen treat.

I was sent three of their newest flavors -- Mixed Berry, Pineapple Mango and Strawberry Banana. Can you believe that each 4 fl. oz. cup is only 100 calories?  So, not only am I getting my frozen treat fix, but I am doing so in a healthy way. The best part about these frozen sorbet cups is that you can eat them right out of the freezer with a spoon, or pop in the microwave for 20 seconds for a smoothie treat.  What mom doesn't like a quick snack she can grab from the freezer and serve to her children?

Out of the three new flavors sent, I have to say my family's favorite was strawberry banana, with mixed berry a close second.  My youngest daughter, husband and I enjoyed this sweet treat both in it frozen state and as a smoothie, while Savannah preferred having me microwave 2 cups and pour into her sippy cup to enjoy.  Either way you prefer to eat Whole Fruit Smoothies, you will not be disappointed.  Each and every spoonful is filled with chunks of real fruit bursting with flavor.  Good luck in eating just one cup! :-)

Disclosure: I was sent samples from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
