My Thoughts:

Did you family enjoy "How to Train Your Dragon? If you love this Dreamworks movie, then you will love the new animated series, "How to Train Your Dragon: Riders of Berk" on Wednesday nights at 8 PM EST, on the Cartoon Network.  We have tuned in and watched all the episodes so far and love them.

So, when I heard Dreamworks was releasing this new DVD, which features 4 of the 10 episodes which have aired so far this year, I couldn't wait to share it with my family.  At only 22 minutes on average in length, each episode is jam packed with your favorite "How to Train Your Dragon" friends.  Savannah's favorite is Hiccup.  Each and every time she sees Hiccup on the television she goes crazy.  So, when she saw this DVD, she couldn't wait to watch it.  Like the original hit Dreamworks movies, you will be blown away by the attention to detail, right down the skin of the dragons, or the costume.  Dreamworks always does an amazing job at this, and it makes the movies come alive, even if you are watching them on television.

Each week you are pulled into the stories, and for that block of time are entertained from start to finish.  I only wonder why they didn't wait to add all the season 1 episodes on one disc.  But, I guess for those who haven't had a chance to see this new animated series on the Cartoon Network, it is a great introduction for them, just in time for the holidays.  Either way, we had a blast reliving some of the great adventures of this new animated series, and can't wait for future episodes to air.  And, if more DVDs from this series come on, I will be one of the first in line to pick up and add to our "How to Train Your Dragon" collection.

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
