Now Available on Blu-Ray -- Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (Review)

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure [Blu-ray]

Synopsis:
"Keanu Reeves (The Matrix) and Alex Winter (The Lost Boys) star in this outrageous comedy about two ditzy dudes from San Dimas, California. Bill (Winter) and Ted (Reeves) spent so much time forming their rock band, The Wyld Stallyns, that they're flunking history. A guardian angel from the future, Rufus (Carlin) come to them with a bodacious solution: a time traveling phone booth to take them into the past to learn from history's most influential people. Their journey turns out to be a blast...but will they learn enough to pass their class?"

My Thoughts:

This was one of my favorite movies of the 80's, which stars one of my favorite actors, Keanu Reeves. Now, I am not going to waste your time rehashing this popular movie, as many of you have probably seen it half a dozen times.  If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for?  The film follows Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves), as they travel back in time by being transported in a phone booth, in order to bring back historical figures like Abe Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Socrates and many more.  They go back in time to gather up these figures in order to pass their history class.  Many memorable quotes and words have become popular, like "Whoa," "Excellent" and "Dude."

I was excited to see this 80's hit film release on Blu-Ray for the first time.  And, with Bill and Ted's 3 in the works, this will make for a great way to get excited about this upcoming feature film. In addition to the film, this blu-ray release also includes some fun bonus features like "Air Guitar Tutorial".  I can't tell you how many people have tried their hands at air guitar :-)  Have you?

Well, if you love Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and haven't seen it in awhile, or just love Keanu Reeves, why not pick up a copy of this new Blu-Ray.  It is also available on DVD.  And, with the holidays right around the corner, it would make for a great stocking stuffer.

Fox Home Entertainment has released a fun infographic that breaks down the historical figures Bill and Ted meet on their excellent adventure.

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this new release from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
