I can't lie, I have been waiting to see this film, and share Tinker Bell with my daughters. Savannah is a fan of the Peter Pan movies and Jake and the Never Land Pirates hit television series, but has never seen Disney's fairy movies. So, I was eager to see what she thought of the pixie dust and magical world that Tink and her friends live in. The film didn't disappoint our family. We received the review copy this afternoon, and watched it this evening after dinner.
This
feature film will thrill and entertain viewers both young and old, as we are
introduced to the Winter Woods, a forbidden world that changes Tinker Bell's
life forever. Don't worry, I am not
going to spoil this secret. You will
have to watch the movie yourself to find out.
Voiced
by popular actors like Anjelica Huston, Lucy Lui, Timothy Dalton, just to name
a few, this new movie from Disney will have viewers wanting to watch this movie
over and over again. Shortly after the
movie ended, Savannah fell asleep. I am
betting she is dreaming about flying with Tinker Bell and her fairy friends, as
she couldn't stop pretending she was a fairy, as the movie played. And, I know that when she gets up tomorrow,
she will ask to watch this again.
My
husband and I couldn't wait to check out the bonus features included on this
DVD, Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 3D combo pack. We enjoyed the handful of music videos and game that make up the bonus features section, included on both the Blu-Ray and DVD versions of this new movie. So, make sure you check these out when you pick up your copy of Secret of the Wings when it releases tomorrow.
