My Thoughts:
Since becoming a VeggieTales Ambassador last year, I have had the opportunity to share this wonderful animated series with family, friends, fellow moms and my local churches. In addition to putting on screenings of upcoming DVD releases at my church, I also love snuggling up on the couch with my daughters and watching our growing VeggieTales collection. Even though my girls are too young to really grasp the lessons being taught with these faith-based animated films, I know in time they will, and will enjoy these films as much as my husband and I do.
With the holidays right around the corner, it is only fitting to see DVDs coming out to celebrate the holidays. Not only does the VeggieTales: The Ultimate Collection entertain families with six wonderful holiday themed movies, but it also contains a CD with 25 Christmas songs to enjoy. We spent the weekend watching all six episodes after dinner and loved each and every one. Having only seen a handful of the movies, we were in for a treat when we sat down to watch The Star of Christmas, The Little Drummer Boy and It's a Meaningful Life. I have to say my favorites were the It's a Meaningful Life and The Toy that Saved Christmas. It is great being able to share in the holiday spirit while watching Christmas films with the kids, but with VeggieTales movies, they are learning the true meaning of the holidays, and important life lessons.
If you are a fan of VeggieTales like our family is, then this DVD collection is a must have for your family's collection.
