My Thoughts:

This book is great for beginner readers, as it is apart of Simon and Schuster's "Ready to Read" series.  With easy sight words and words to sound out, young readers will enjoy this simple plot, with familiar topics and themes.  Even though Savannah is not yet reader, she did enjoy having me read this cute story to her.  This was the first time she met Inch and Roly, along with their garden friends, but will definitely not be the last.  Savannah enjoyed following along and hearing about the different wishes Inch and Roly and their friends make, as they try to find something to do for the day.  The illustrations in the book really make the story come to life.  We especially loved the last page, with the twinkling night sky.  Once you read this book with your little one, it will become an instant favorite.  We haven't been able to go a day without reading it.
