I have been a fan of Enjoy Life products for some time, and have done a handful of their products, including their healthy snack line. So it was only fitting for me to review their new and improved oven-baked chewy bars. I had not tried their previous version, so I don't have anything to compare the news chewy bars to. But, all I can say is how good these 1 oz. bars.
I was sent a box of each of their chewy bar flavors, which include Cocoa Loco, Caramel Apple, Verry Berry and Sunbutter Crunch. These bars are packed with essential vitamins and minerals, and are great for those with certain food allergies like gluten and celiac diseases, as well as vegans. After sampling each of the flavors sent, I have to say my favorite was the Cocoa Loco bars. With every bite, you tasted rich chocolately goodness. And, when I paired it with a glass of milk, it was even better.
My husband helped sample the bars, and found that he liked the Caramel Apple and Very Berry flavors more than the other two. He even brought a few to work for a colleague to try, but unfortunately they didn't like the bars, as they thought they were too dry. If you prefer moist chewy bars, then you will be surprised when you sink your teeth into Enjoy Life's chewy bars. It is not what you expect from a chewy bar. But, many of the bars out on the market are filled with artificial flavors and sugars that these bars don't contain.
I found myself eating these chewy bars from Enjoy Life when I was in a rush and looking for a quick snack to munch out. They are small enough to fit in your pocket or diaper bag. And, at only 1 oz. they are great for those who watch their portion sizes. One bar gets you full, which I was surprised at. Not only are you left satisfied and full, but you will feel great knowing that these chewy bars are also good for you.

My son loves every flavor of these! He has food allergies, so we send the Cocoa bars to his preschool for a treat he can have in place of birthday cupcakes. No complaints from him, he says "they had cupcakes but I got to have my chocolate!"
