Are you done with your back to school shopping yet? Or, are you like me and wait until the last minute to pick up clothes and school supplies. Even though my daughters are too young for grade school, I have been helping prepare my nephew for back to school for the past few years. I help his parents with buying a backpack full of school supplies, along with 5-6 outfits.
I remember back in the day when I was in school, my mom would be so efficient and begin back to school shopping a few weeks after we went on summer break. Yes, you read that right. She would let us get a couple outfits near the end of summer when the hot new styles were made available in stores. But, notebooks, pencils, pens, backpacks, etc. were already bought and stored in the hall closet. One item that I never thought much of, until I needed it was the Wet Ones that she would always tuck in my front zipper pouch. She would always tell me to use for spills, stinky fingers, after I cough or sneeze, or touch anything dirty. These handy disposable wipes came in handy come the winter when flu season hit, and everyone around me seemed to be picking up a cold or bug. I always found myself asking for new resealable Wet Ones pouches during the cold/flu season, as I would either use or share with friends. This was one item my friends never had. But, when they needed a way to clean their hands and prevent the spread of germs, they knew who to ask.
Even though there are anti-bacterial products on the market, I still find Wet Ones to be my go-to germ prevention, as it doesn't contain alcohol or other harsh chemicals, and will not leak or spill in backpacks. I love how I can pass along this back-to-school tradition with my nephew, and eventually my daughters. I am not only breaking the back when I buy Wet Ones (usually in bulk to have on hand), but I am keeping my family healthy and germ-free, which makes me feel good. And, best of all, Wet Ones are hypoallergenic and enriched with skin conditioning aloe, making them great for those with sensitive skin and for young children.
So, with school starting soon, why not add a package of Wet Ones to your child's backpack, gym bag or jacket. They will thank you for it!
