My Thoughts:

I was sent a tray of Byron's BBQ last week to try with my family, and it couldn't have arrived at a better time, as I was scratching my head wondering what I would make for dinner.  Even though it came on dry ice and said it was best cooked from a thawed state, I followed the directions that were given for cooking frozen, and it came out great.  Look at what I was able to put on the dinner table that night:

It tasted as good as it looked.  We ended up making BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, with a side of sweet potato chips.  Mmmm, just thinking about it makes my mouth water.  Now, being a fan of BBQ and having traveled all over to sample the best that is available, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tasted.  I waited until my husband had tried the pulled pork before I told him that this tray can be purchased at Sam's Club, and didn't come from a mail order BBQ shop, like I usually order from when we are craving authentic BBQ. If I had told him it was a fully-cooked tray from the store, he would have had a pre-conceived notion that it was a knock off or wouldn't not be good.  But, before we could sit down to eat, he snuck a piece of the pulled pork and ate it.   He, like me, couldn't get over how sweet and tangy the pork was, and how juicy it was.  I had a bottle of BBQ sauce on the table in case we needed to add more juice and flavoring, but neither of us reached for it.  By the end of the meal, we were both full after have 2 sandwiches each.  Savannah even had a small plate and was licking her fingers and lips.  Who would have thought that a fully cooked meal from the store would taste so good?  Compared to other mail order BBQ I have ordered in the best, this ranks at the top of the list for overall quality and taste, and the portion size was amazing and could feed a family of 4-6 easily.

I can't wait to pick up another tray of Byron's BBQ and try it cooked in the crock pot.  So, if you love BBQ or are looking for quick and easy meals to prepare and serve your family when you find yourself wondering what you will serve for dinner, why not pick up a tray of Byron's BBQ the next time you head to Sam's Club?  I know you will enjoy it!  With our without rolls, you will be reaching for seconds (and possible third helpings, if there is any left).
